Tornando's Pray for the people.

Pray for the survivors. Several years ago I been up close to 3 tornadoes had one go thru my back yard, I had wife and kid in cellar of house and I had a beagle under each arm and watched it 75 yards away, no wind nothing where I was at. It jumped my nieghbors house and tore the devil out of lots of trees. They ( Tornadoes) are strange things on how they act.

Mark we had to cut a tree down saturday and build a dog house, I was tired but thanks for invite on hunt.

Have a good day, Jeff

Too windy ta farmstore today,I've been in more than I care too, worst part is when your out on the road you ain't got much cover, had a hurricane chase me one time from Hammond,La. to Mobile,Al. thought I'd out ran it till I went ta bed for the night about 30 min. later it caught up with me,rocked the truck & water poured like crazy.

When I was Game Warden I watched two of them come across Crab Orchard Lake. Two of the biggest water spouts I ever seen. Next I grabbed a tree and held on for dear life. They passed within 50 yards of me and never touched a single boat in the boat harbor or touched any structure.

If your wife wants to move to Florida remind her of the hurricanes which would be worse than any tornado. Feel sorry for all those people what a mess. Oldest son was working in Washington last week just came home Friday glad he did. Saw Rex out running around this morning says he ain't workin. Told he he would have plenty of time to deer hunt this week. Got a fox runnin around here seen him twice now. He is a pretty little dude. Have a good day all. Linda

Chuck when you ask me how close I live to Washington I thought you were talking about Washington County. They had a tornado to the same day. The town of Washington is way north of me.

At the moment they are all doing fine. They all thankfully have a job but in these days that could all change tomorrow, if you know what I mean. There is no job security anymore. Ya watched all that on news couldn't imagine what they are going through having to start all over, especially the ones who are up there in the years. Gives us something to be thankful for this thanksgiving. Linda
