Do you know what most marriages need? Two funerals and one wedding where both the husband and the wife die to themselves and come alive to Jesus Christ.

You see, when a man loves his wife passionately, there’s nothing too precious for that man to give up for his wife, except his relationship to Almighty God.

When there’s that kind of love shown to a woman, I dare say the topic of submission would not be an issue.

Most women don’t mind submitting to a man who loves her enough to die for her and shows it by the way he lives for her.

What Happens When Ya Worry

Hello all! What awsome weather were havin ,It was 81 yesterday. so we know now that summer is getin closer.Lets get to the message for today,,, What Happens When You Worry

“Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.” - 1 Peter 5:7

What happens when you worry? You bring tomorrow’s difficulty into today.

God didn’t give you grace for tomorrow’s difficulties. He only gives you grace for today.

When you reach into tomorrow’s troubles, you overload today’s circuit. Worry doesn’t take the sorrow out of tomorrow, it takes the strength out of today. When you meet tomorrow, you’re out of breath because you’re already overloaded from today. Worry, therefore, does not make you ready for the future, it really makes you unready.

Yesterday is just a canceled check. Tomorrow is a promissory note. Today has all the cash you can handle. Spend it wisely.

Worry will eat your lunch! It’ll eat your breakfast and dinner, too! Confess your worries as sin (because they are). Put your concerns at the throne of Almighty God, trusting Him to provide. God gives us everything that we need. how did we get through yesterday ? God got us through it .Worry is a big word and that dumb little 5 letter word has the power to make you sick. “The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth.” - Psalm 29:3

Some people think it’s a waste of time to simply sit at God’s feet and listen. It is not a waste of time to wait on God any more than a woodsman is wasting time when he sharpens his axe.

In his booklet “Tyranny of the Urgent,” Charles Hummel wrote, “When we fail to wait prayerfully for God’s guidance and strength, we are saying, with our actions if not our lips, that we do not need Him….Prayerful waiting on God is indispensable to effective service. Like the time-out in a football game, it enables us to catch our breath and fix new strategy…The need is not the call. The call must come from the Lord who knows our limitations.”

Read Psalm 29. Count how many times the phrase “voice of the Lord” is repeated. Spend at least that many minutes listening for His voice and trusting He will speak His will to you. Are you one of those people who believes “Put off until tomorrow what you could be doing today”? This is one of those times when the fingers pointing back at me outnumber the one that’s pointing to you! What am I talking about? Procrastination.

Did you know that procrastination is a sin? I say that because sin is not merely doing wrong, it is failing to do what you ought to do. Procrastination and disobedience are just different shades of the same sin. I heard a quote once that said it well: “When you have a job to do, begin this very hour. You supply the will, God supplies the power.” That is the will power we need to instantly obey!

Has a certain task been hounding you? Confess your procrastination as sin. And act now. don’t hesitate. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow may never come. Today is the day! I have to admit I am one who now and then says ,{ Il wait and do it tomorrow} it might not get here. I once read a little sign that a pastor had on his desk that said, “He who would not fall down ought not to walk in slippery places. Keep yourself clean. Keep yourself pure. Watch what you set before your eyes.” There needs to be discipline.

Job said, “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look upon a maid” (Job 31:1). If we are to have a walk of purity in obedience to God, we must determine ahead of time what our course of action will be. One big decision will take care of a lot of little ones.

I am a Christian but Ive been through a lot of tough times dealing with depression and anxiety and spiritual warfare. Im WAY WAY better than I used to be. Pray for me. Today was awesome. I gotta keep on keeping on and Trust God and take thoughts captive. Thank yall.

The Lord sees you. He knows all about you. And I guarantee you on the authority of the Word of God that He loves you.

This is amazing when you realize that we are just specks on a globe that’s about the size of a grain of sand or less compared to the size of the universe. There’s no more reason that the Lord of glory should be interested in us than that we should be interested in an ant floating on a piece of cheesecake in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

And yet our Lord looks down and He sees us as cherished individuals that He loves, one by one. The great God Who runs the universe is concerned about you as though that were His only goal.

When was the last time you counted the hairs on your head? Can you trust a God who has them numbered? Do you know what a quiet time is? It is fellowship with a holy God.

The reason some folks don’t have a quiet time is that they feel uncomfortable. The reason they feel uncomfortable is that they don’t want to look God in the face. The reason they don’t want to look God in the face is because they have sin in their lives.

What did Adam do after he had sinned and God came walking in the Garden? Adam fled. Before that, Adam had that quiet time with God, didn’t he? They had boundless, unending fellowship. But when there was sin in Adam’s life, he did not want to look God in the face.

Are you reluctant to have a quiet time? Maybe it’s because there is sin in your life. Ask God to shine His light into you. Then wait for His answer so you can repent. Ya know you can have quiet time any time ya want it. I was with my family at a birthday party for my grand daughter.It was at a Chucky Cheese where they have all kinds of games and different rides even adults can ride.I hopped on this motorcycle and straped in and it was so real it was hard to believe you were siting in a room. I was a virtual reality motorcycle ride. The screen came on and I couldn’t believe it. I felt like I was riding a motorcycle,

Sometimes our minds tell us something is true when it’s not true. Other times when something is true, we fail to believe that it is true. How critical it is for us to focus on the truth!

Jesus died for you.
He lives for you.
You died with Him.
You live for Him.

Day by day, you need to take those facts and turn them into faith.

Praise God! The story has a happy ending! He is risen! Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God at this very moment, interceding on your behalf (Romans 8:34). And His prayers are always answered.

When the problems of your life are over your head, remember they are under His feet. Where is His head? It is in the heavenlies, interceding for you.

Where are your problems? Under His feet.

Jesus is alive and waiting in the wings to return for you!

Ya have some problems ? Ya need some help ? Ya think theres no one that can help ya with them ? If you want to be miserable, then think about yourself first...what you want, what people are saying about you, what you ought to have done for you, how down you feel, how good you feel. Just focus on yourself.

Feeling good yet? If you are, then something is wrong. Selfishness and happiness just don’t go hand in hand. If you are thinking it is better to receive than to give, you’ll never be happy. You’ll never experience the blessing of giving that Jesus taught.

Hold out your hand and make a fist for at least one minute. Now, relax. Which feels better? Now imagine if your spirit is tight and how that will quench His work in your life. Its so easy to give.A person doesnt have to give money,Like most people think when your asked to give You can give other things ,Like a thank you ,Holding open a door .Helping out a friend or neighbor, Going to the store for a neighbor that cant get to the store.There is so many ways to give .Do ya Have the picture now ? Did you know that there has only been one person who ever chose to die? Only one.

"Oh," you say, "Suicide bombers choose to die. Other people choose to die. People who die by their own hand choose to die. People who give themselves for others choose to die."

But really no one has ever chosen to die except Jesus. Why? Because He was the only One who didn’t have to die. Some people may choose to die a little sooner, but nobody has ever truly chosen to die except One—the Lord Jesus Christ. One thing about it we are all gona die .We will all face it someday

It wasn’t nails that held Him to the tree. It was the silver cords of love and the golden bonds of redemption that held Jesus Christ to that cross.

Harry Houdini was an escape artist. They tried all kinds of ways to keep Harry Houdini locked up. They would bury him in a coffin, but he would get out. They would sew him up in canvas bags and throw him in the river, but he would come out. His biographer said he could “escape from anything, except your memory.”

Yet there came a day when Harry Houdini died and he did not escape. No trickery there. Harry Houdini did not escape the iron-clad clutches of death. But I want to tell you there was another who died. His name was Jesus, and He made the great escape. Jesus came out of the grave and He arose. Matthew 20: 17-19

Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them,

“We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!”

Thank you God for the empty tomb! JESUS CHRIST AROSE INDEED AND THE PROPHECY WAS FULFILLED!

The Lamb of God—Your Substitute

“Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.” - Isaiah 53:4-6

Jesus Christ did not die as a martyr. He was not a helpless victim. He said, “I lay down my life, No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself.” (John 10:17-18) The cross was not an accident or an afterthought; it was in the heart and mind of God before the world was framed. Jesus was born in the shadow of the cross.

John the Baptist announced, “Behold the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world.” The Lamb of God died on the same day as the Passover lambs were being slain on Mount Moriah, the very limestone ridge where long ago God had told Abraham, “God will provide Himself a lamb.” Jesus said, “Abraham saw My day, and was glad.” (John 8:56)

To the priests on Mount Moriah, Jesus Christ could say, “Your work is over. Put away your knives. We need no more lambs, no more sacrifices. The Lamb has died and has paid in full.”

What a price the Son of God paid for you and I and where we worth what Jesus Christ paid ? Would you a gave your son for anyone ? Think about the price that was paid for your salvation.
