Eddie, I have a female that I will be breeding sometime in the Spring or Summer. I am very interested and have been considering breeding her to Crockett. She is a NiteCh with wins towards Grand. I am not going to breed her until we get her Granded out. I like the looks of Crockett and the fact he is a hound that trees coon in every state you turn him loose in. I also like the fact he is a consistent winner in every state you have turned him loose in. I am not dead set on what I will breed her too yet, but wanted you to know Crockett has my interest. The main thing I'm looking for is a hound that produces. And not just produces a good one every now and then, but a hound that produces litters of good ones consistently. Basically, looking for strong reproducer, that comes from strong reproducers.Could you pm me names and numbers of some folks that own Crockett pups.

Eddie on another note, I must say you put up well with some of the public that struggle with being decent acting folks. I don't guess they see what alot of us do see and that is how foolish and childish they portrait themselves on here, which in turn makes what they say pretty much meaning less and uncreatable.

you are correct Jessi it is that simple. we have nothing to hide. U997539 anyone can check on this themselves. no need for folks to lie on another man's dog and cause problems. 7 year old dog that has been in the hunts for 5 years and 1 write up ever and that couldn't be helped. sometimes you have to take one even if its not your fault.

there is always a solution to a problem and can be handled in a decent manner. like I said we have nothing to hide. we hauled this dog all over the country and the dog did his own speaking.

lol Mark, I've been kinda lazy and haven't hunted her. I've kinda been under the weather, but that's really no excuse. Larry won't hunt Grace for me haha. He said she is too much like her grandma for him to be hunting. i'm going to take Grace for a date tonight

Only problem with that is than how does one wade threw the BS? If I was looking to breed a female and doing some research on the stud page should I only see what the owner wants me to see?

Sorry Eddie I'm using you for example since your in this discussion....if I'm doing my homework and research on a could be stud dog why do I just have to go read how great they are? I wanna no if they get wrote up..do I care? NO! But why shouldn't I know? Did it happen? Yup..did Eddie post it? NOPE...does Eddie post every good thing all over every post? Yup...I don't give a dam what goes on in most these hunts but I want the truth...why does that fella not have the right to ask?

Where do you plan on goin with dogs? You breeding for what everybody talks about or to move forward?

Chances are you'd never buy a pup from me cause I will be 100% dead honest about anything I feed!
I'd rather you dislike me or my dogs because I'm honest than you be my buddy cause I can make you believe what I want!

Good luck Eddie in the future with your dogs...from what I've read all over UKC and Facebook I'm looking forward to seeing Crocket and 3 of his pups in the final 4 of the UKC world hunt for many years to come!

Eddie is someone trying to say old Crockett is mean?lol Fellas I hunted with him at bluetickdays in KY. In a four dog cast 3 males and my female only 2 that didn't fight was Crockett and buckeye he was even chased around a tree he had every chance to show ugly. He was treeing coon when others were fighting so if he was mean and they are saying that's how he has won is full of crap I seen how he wins and its not from that!Hope all is good! Go Team Blue!,

Guys I just have to say THIS IS MORE ENTERTAING THAN THE GAME SHOW FAMILY FEUD. lol My take on this (which dosent count for much) is crocket has done a good amount of winning this year in several states, consistently won his cast no matter where he was hunted ,triple crown winner,2nd in the purina race is an accomplishment to be proud of eddie. Now as far as what I see: the very first time I seen crocket I was impressed he looked like a bluetick should ,was lounging around no chain needed. not a wound up idiot then after spending several hours discussing the breeding that produced crocket and how it all came to be with larry and eddie and doin my home work to see to it he wasn't a fluke but more of product of thought out breeding I got a female pup out of crocket she had not been messed with hardly at all due to the campaigning of crocket. She was green as grass. My female looks just like him the very first show with her she had never even seen a bench she won class and breed at a larger show the next won she won queen of show on her 2nd time out. She has a huge mouth that uses it accordingly on track not in the kennel she is just like crocket laid back till you turn her loose then its all business. She went from never as much as smelling a coon to running and treeing in two months split treeing some nights she is very independent and will go deep all buy her self she still has a long way to go and has some bad nights too she has never run fast game or even thought about it. she has treed 2 grinners but that was early on she came in heat in dec so for the last few weeks she has been laid up. aunt flo will be gone soon and then she will be back in the woods From everything I see crocket has done well with reproducing a nice hound. I have talked to a couple other fellas that have females out of him on an earlier cross and tried buying them but they would not sell. Time will only tell what impact he will have on the breed, but for now I have already booked another pup out of him. I like crocket and I like what I have here out of him. mike

I see a trend in the stud dog world! If they do a lot of winning bam there mean as a snake!Have a friend that owns a walker stud named Grnitech Purdys wood rock in Rambler when I go to hunts I have heard he is mean as heck which upsets me because I have hunted every dog in my kennel with him without a off bark!males females and pups!I will say he won't take a dog fanging him but have had my males land on him stand on his back!nothing!Hejust wins most of his casts people just wwon't give other mans dog credit!,, Eddie you can use me as a credit I know what I saw the night I hunted with him a COONDOG!that's it a animal that had a job and did it very well he treed fine with buckeye until other dog come in and started chasing him around tree! Give dog the credit it deserves not hard to do!
