Got a call

From Joe Smith from Mississippi today. He said that his female is bred. Took her for an ultra sound and she has at least 6 pups inside!!

Joe

is pretty excited about this litter!

John, Maximus sure would be a good cross for Buck's "pups-to-be" on paper. You should have made him a Gr Nt Ch by the time that they are ready to breed. I hope that you get a couple of wins with him at Southern Days. I sure would like to draw out with you/him there. At some point this year, I would love to see him go.

Hey Richard

Sounds good on breeding to one of Bucks females. I believe he is ready, I was hoping to have another 10-20 coon shot out to him but winter came really early. This Saturday it is supposed to be well above freezing so hoping to hunt. Coon season is open here for another 6 days. Hope to see you there. I am about 75 % sure I am coming. Thanks John

stats on Red

60 pups on the ground

4 females presently bred, that have not whelped yet

Oldest - 2 years

The best cross that I have made is with a female that is Razor Red that came from Redfever kennels.

Ntch Ch Red Fever City of Light (aka Paris), all the pups that I know of from the first cross were running a treeing their own coon by 8 months old. (some were split treeing at that age) They are also hard tree dogs!!

There are no titled dogs yet. But there a 4 dogs from the first cross that all could go in the hunts right now! (RED & Daisy cross)

Mine will be soon, had him in one hunt!

Thanks John
