He Arose! He Arose !

He sits at the right hand of GOD. They did everything thing to him to put him down forever,,,,BUT HE AROSE ! All of those terrible things that they did to the Son of GOD. The beatings he took, The words he heard,Every time he took a slap from the whips, When they pressed that crown of thorns down on his head. As each strike of that hammer driving those nails into his feet and palms of his hands,The humiliation of hanging there in front of your mom and friends that loved you. When that soldier stuck that sword into JESUS side,He told the theif hanging next to him ,You will be with me in paradice when he realized it was JESUS hanging there. then he uttered these words ,IT IS FINISHED. Jesus was taken down,Put in a tomb, A very large boulder was placed in front of the tomb,Soldiers were stationed there as guards.,,,,,,,,,But,,Ya know what ? Everything that Jesus Christ went through.He did for you and me .We are so undeserving for what he went through.Were sinners and we deserved HELL for eternity forever. But GOD LOVES us and gives each and everyone a choice HELL forever,,or HEAVEN for ever with HIM All ya have to do is ask JESUS to come into your life,Live For HIM and Tell others about his LOVE,KINDNESS,and all he can do.......HE AROSE !!! Praying In Secret

Good Mornin Everyone ! A new week is here.Another chance to tell others about Jesus Christ.Those that dont know Jesus dont know all the good things that he does for those that have that relationship with him. “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”- Matthew 6:6

What did our Lord mean when He said, “Enter into your closet to pray”? The word “closet” simply means somewhere you can shut the door on the world and open the windows to heaven.

As you study the life of Jesus, you’ll discover that Jesus sought times to be alone. Sometimes He would go on a mountain, sometimes into the wilderness, and sometimes into a garden. It is the secret place that is the sacred place.

The mark of your prayer life is not really how well you pray in public, but in private. When you enter your closet to pray, spend some time in silence. Clear your mind. Then listen for His Words of edification, encouragement, and exhortation. The Reason You Are Stressed

Good Friday Mornin! Man it has been doin some rainin here in The Riverbottoms,Lots of tornados around too. But the rain is good for the Mushrooms and we can do without the tornados. Have a nice weekend and get someone to go to church with ya .Lets get on to Fridays message. The Reason You Are Stressed

“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” - Matthew 6:30

Do you know the reason we’re stressed? Because we think our needs are not going to be met. We say, “Oh my goodness, I’m not going to have what I need!” Where in the world am I gona get it ?

Jesus tells us not to worry about what you are going to eat. And don’t worry about what you are going to wear. He’s saying only one thing is important – His righteousness. These things don’t even take significance until your deepest needs are met. You are to find your satisfaction in Him. If you don’t find your satisfaction in Him, you’re going to be stressed.

Are you stressed out about something today? Turn it over to Jesus and turn your focus to Him. Let Jesus meet your needs and transform your heart today. What he says he will do,He does not break promises when he says somethin like myself and you do. He is the only ,,I said only friend that we have that will never go back on his WORD and break promises. Is GOD in your life,Is GOD a part of it ? If not he can be ,All ya gota do is ask him to be. Very simple thing to do. Just say this short little prayer,, { GOD ,I know that you died for my sins ,Please forgive me for all my sins,I am sorry. I know that you was hung on a cross,beaten,spat on, laughed at,, You took all that punishment for me.You were taken down from that cross and put in a tomb after you died,,,,But three days later,You arose walked out of that tomb, many people saw you. I know that you are the ALMIGHTY GOD and again IM so sorry for being the SINNER that I am and ask you to come into my life and heart and be apart of it ,I want to live in Heaven with you..... AMEN.. If you just said these last few sentences and truly meant it ,You are now a part of The Family of GOD and a CHRISTIAN and you will live for ever in Heaven with HIM. Good afternoon,I am sorry I havent posted I have been busy with some work ,,but thats not really an excuse,I am very sorry because GODS work is more important than my work and I should have made time for GODS I will from now on.. lets get to todays message. What Is Meekness?

“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth - Matthew 5:5.”

What does it mean to be meek? First, let me tell you what it is not before I tell you what it is.

Meekness is not weakness. The word “meek” means yielded. It literally has the idea of strength under control. When an animal, especially a horse, is domesticated, it is trained so a rider can sit on its back or so it can pull a plow. The proper term for this process is that the animal has been ”meeked.” It has been broken. Now it yields to the rider or the yoke. Now the animal exhibits strength under control. That’s what meekness is.

Read Matthew 11:29 and 21:5. What does Jesus say about Himself, and how can you emulate Him?

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

I ask that you all pray for one of my best friends, his name is Doug. Doug has fought the chains of addiction and substance abuse for several years now and it seemed everything was going well in his life until one of his dearest high school friends passed away from cancer. Doug turned to the chains of addiction once again instead of turning towards Jesus Christ for the strength and comfort to endure the loss.
God knows his name and his needs at this time of trial and tribulation in his life. My prayer today is not for me and my family but for Doug......... my dear friend that I love so very much... Jesus Christ, I ask that today is the day that Doug becomes your vessel and give him the power and strength to break the chains of addiction forever! In the name of Jesus Christ I pray....... AMEN!

More Than Fair- Weather Christianity

Good mornin Everyone ! GOD is good he proves it to us as everday pass's by. Just think how things would be if he wasnt there for us .We all would have major problems ,But knownig that he is there makes the days a little easier ..Lets get on to todays message..........More Than Fair-Weather Christianity

“If we believe not, yet He abides faithful: He cannot deny Himself.” - 2 Timothy 2:13

Are you a fair-weather Christian? There are some who, if their children get sick, will stop tithing. If they get a bad report from the doctor, they stop praising. If somebody hurts their feelings, they stop going to church.

You can tell the commitment level of a Christian by their “fair weather” gauge.
The test is, when everything goes wrong or doesn’t add up, what will you do?

I’ll give you some hints. Keep giving. Keep praying. Keep praising. Keep witnessing. Keep worshipping. Don’t fail to be faithful.

Think of three things you can do today to bring the light of God’s Son to someone who may be struggling with his or her faith. Then go do it! What ever it is you can do ,no matter how little that you think it matters can matter a lot to someone that just needs that little uplifting ,It might be just some thin little that finnaliy gets a person to accept CHRIST as there savior..God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas ,,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron ....Prayer for all of yous !

A factory mechanic builds a truck. He knows the chassis of that truck and knows the load it can carry. In the same way, God knows your frame and He knows the load you can carry.

God is faithful; He will not allow you to be tempted above that which you are able. Nothing comes to you but that which comes through God. Even what Satan does, he can only do as God allows it. You can say, “The temptation was so strong I couldn’t overcome it,” but it won’t be true. God will provide a way of escape.

I don’t understand much about computers. I can do normal things like type a document, surf the web, and make a simple spreadsheet. But when it comes to fixing problems, my computer goes straight to the professionals who know how to fix it – those folks who know a lot about computers.

You know them… they’re up on all the latest technology, can repair any problem, and have an incredible capacity to work with those machines!

In much the same way, those people who are faithful to the Lord Jesus today and until they meet Him face to face will build a greater capacity to receive His rewards. Yes, every believer in Christ will enjoy the Lord’s presence forever. But for those who are truly faithful with what He’s given them, that reward will be even greater!

Now there are those who take issue with the idea there will be different rewards in heaven, but it’s the truth! God loves to reward His children, and that reward grows with our faithfulness. So steward God’s blessings well and you’ll gain the capacity to experience a greater reward that you could ever imagine! At The End Of Your Rope

Hello To All ! Its a nice mornin here in the Riverbottom. Theres a couple of wild canadian geese that got up next to my machine shed and made a nest and theres a bunch of eggs in it ,I know because when I came around the end to get inside and get a tractor out the old gander ran me off he wasnt very happy that I came close to his and her eggs.Im gona keep watch on them those eggs should be hatching soon.Then we will have a whole family.Those ole geese are sure protective of there nest an instinct that GOD put in every creature. Lets get on to todays message..... At the End of Your Rope

“Who is among you that fears the Lord, that obeys the voice of His servant... let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.” - Isaiah 50:10

I have always been amazed at the advice worldly people give to someone who is hurting. “When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!” Can you see someone dangling over a cliff, holding on to a rope, and trying to tie a knot? It takes two hands to do that!

The first thing we need to remember is “don’t demand to understand.” There are some things in life you and I just will never understand. When God allows darkness to overshadow your life, don’t set about lighting your own fire. That’s a recipe for heartache.

Trust that GODS light will come and wait for it. He will come. Believe it.

There’s someone out there who is hurting today and needs more than a pat answer of encouragement. Give them the light of Christ.
