Autumn Oaks has come and gone another year, and as always we had a blast!!! Me and my family have met a lot of good friends through these dogs, and some we even think of as family and we think they are some of the best friends/good people as a person could ask for. So thanks to Chad St. John, Chubb Carlisle,Roy Grant, John Veeder, "Uncle" Randy Holcomb, And Elmer Stoltzfus and the rest of the Amish Mafia for the memories and another awesome week at Autumn Oaks 2017.

Roy, Kharter loves her Barbie and thinks you and your wife are the best thing since sliced bread!!

Me and REX made the GRAND 16 with 925+!! REX is out of GRNITECH OL SOUTHS STYLISH REBEL & GRNITECH JR'S JANEY!!

We had an awesome weekend here at the Kidd house, it was youth deer hunting weekend so me and Brayden snuck out from camping with the family to the timber Saturday morning and after afew hrs of waiting he got the opportunity to bag his FIRST DEER!!!!!! He made an awesome shot on him and you could not wipe the grin off this boys face. It was awesome to get to share that with my boy who's not so little anymore. These memories will last us a lifetime, he thinks he's ready for his own hunting show now lol

But all the action of bubs first deer, had little miss Kharter alittle jealous so I had to pinky promise to take her coonhuntin next time daddy went. We loaded Rex up but decided to go pick up our buddy Elmer and spectate him and Joe Black for Kharters FIRST COMPETITION HUNT!! She had a blast and got to shine and squall at every tree, she ended the night telling the cast, "This is the best night ever!!" And to top it off Elmer and Joe won the cast to add to their PKC earnings, which put her on cloud 9!!

These kids keep there daddy busy and I love every second of it!!!

I see who's been putting all that hunting on Ol Rex, Kharter been doing a fine job with him. Lol, and I can't agree more with Roy , fantastic Dad, friend and houndsman. Proud to call him my friend anyday.

Thanks fellas, and I know each and everyone of you are the same way. I know they don't stay little forever so we make the best of it every chance we get. I've very blessed to have two healthy young-uns who love being with their daddy and also having good hunting buddies all over, I very grateful!!

We are gona have a blast this fall gettin the little MANIAC X JANEY pups out and about, I think this will be the best cross yet on the ol girl, time will tell!!

I decided to take ol Janey out for a spin last night, OL GRANNY HAS STILL GOT IT!!. She hasn't been out in a year or better I'd say, and it didn't take her about 2 mins on the first drop and maybe 10 on the 2nd drop to bushwhack a couple. It was nice to hear the old girl sing her song again. She's truly a once in a lifetime hound, it's nice when u can pull her off the box and have a chance at winning at any hunt, and reproduces pups that are the same way. I hate to see her get old, but I've sure enjoyed the ride.

We had two sons of Janey out last night, STYLISH REX AND JOE BLACK, they went 5 trees/5 coon and our new little handler Kharter was with us, so we had to have her back by midnight so she didn't turn into a pumpkin 🎃 lol. My back is alittle stiff this morning at work from packing her on my shoulders all night but she had a blast.

CONGRATS to Jacob and GUN on picking up another 1st place win last night, making GUN A NITECH!!!!! And adding another titled Janey pup to our kennel !!!! Gun hasn't been pushed at all like we've wanted to, due to hunting and pushing others. Jacob has got him tuned back up and he's about to come back north and so we can work on his GRNITE title. He's got stud dog potential all over him. GUN is close to 90lbs and a mouth like a lion to go with it, very good looking. We will start breeding some females soon to see what kind of pups he will throw, he's just 2yrs old so we got plenty of time. Again congrats Jake and GUN!!!!!!
