I don't think that many realise how free we live in certain parts of the country compared to others. Thankfully Trump has left this to individual states recognizing their rights and not imposing over reaching power on us.

I have been back to work since august 16th. I still did not get any unemployment checks since I started filing on june 4th. So they owe me for the 2 1/2 months I was off. This is just getting too complicated for me , I thought we lived in a democracy. I guess trump is changing that too.

True dumcrat response. Switch to Covid when "dictator", "economy" or "Russia Hoax" isn't working. It won't "just disappear" but they are getting it under control as they learn more about it. It has taken a lot of behind the scenes leadership and work from our President and his team. Just because President Trump has tried to reassure the American people and hold down the panic and doomsday mongers doesn't mean that he hasn't been putting in 12-16 hr days to get the Carona Virus under control. He has been working and worrying so that we don't have to. That is what a true leader does. He even put himself out there to the extent that he caught it himself trying to reassure everyone and keep this country going. He didn't crawl into a basement and hide so that he wouldn't get it. He has gone to work every day setting an example for the millions of essential workers that have had to keep on working. What a leader and President.

Wasn't going to jump on tbe band wagon, but REALLY? States controll the unemployment payments. They have already stated they can't afford the extra payments anymore(Demorat run states anyway). If you haven't gotten a check yet, maybe, just maybe, it's time to go to the unemployment office and find out why instead of sitting on a computer and complaining about it.
If you are looking for facts, what was the unemployment before Covid hit? And wasn't President Trump criticized for shutting down travel to China? Wasn't the Demorats telling people it was ok to visit Chinatown?

So go ahead and vote for someone that has openly stated, he wants to raise corporate taxes back to 28%( the rate before the record low unemployment), open the borders, come for assault style weapons ( BTW, the .22 my dad bought me when I was 12 qualifies for that since it holds more than 10 rounds and is semi automatic, it is a tube fed Marlin-Glenfield), wants to again, try to shut down fossil fuel.( Remember, under his administration, gas was $4 a gallon) and states ANTIFA is an idea the Republicans thought up. BLM is a peaceful group. (1-2 BILLION DOLLARS DAMAGE since the riots have started, I wonder who did it?) Who thinks abortion is a healthcare item we all should fund, including IN THE BIRTH CANAL.. 8 lbs ready to BREATHE!...all these are PROVEN FACTS ON VIDEO...

The Tn unemployment rate in Feb of this year was less than 4%. That is an all time historic low. Then the Carona Virus struck. The economy was shut down and people were paid more to stay home than they could make working so the unemployment rate shot up to 15% for only one month. In 2009 it was more than 10% for the whole year. That is the highest that it has been in the last 50 yrs. The unemployment rate in Aug was 8.5%. Now how is that for an answer?

You were reporting "fake news". You used the unemployment rate for the month of March at the height of the "Pandemic stay at home craze" and compared it to the yearly historical unemployment rates.
