Two more additions made today

We also got 'PR' WEBSTER'S LILL SUE she is a 9 month old felmale pup out of Roofus and a full littermate to 'PR' PLAIN ENGLISH LAKELAND OL' BLU. Sue is already running and treeing. We will put her in the woods a couple of nights to see how she does then we more then likely will be selling her..

Sue looked and sounded good. She has a huge mouth she got first strike. She has a little work but once she gets it together she should be a dandy. If fact we will not be selling any time soon. We were very impressed her. She may be a special hound. We want to make sure she gets her time in woods this spring.

We will be reselling GRCH'PR' WELL KEPT SECRET. She is not gonna work in our breeding program. I am picky when it comes to what I keep and want to use in my breeding program. They are few reasons why I have chosen not to use her. I want to make one thing clear is that I don't feel that I was miss lead in anyway when I bought her. In fact I was second guessing myself into buying her but once I had said yes I was commited and a man of my word I bought her. If I hadn't already commited I wouldn't have... Asking $400.00 cash or open to trade of equal value.

We have a dreded trip to the hospital tomorrow. Penny goes in for back surgery she 3 ruptured disc she's been in alot of pain since last September. So pray for a safe operation.

A chilling 18 degrees this morning. At 6 am yesterday I swept 4-5 inches of snow of the back porch and when we gat back home @ 4:30 pm they were another 5-6 inches on the porch again. However the snow has been melting down steadily on the ground. Penny is doing fine she is having some pain and won't take her pain meds but she recovering well and thanks everone for their prayers. Thanks for the Pm's as well..

Some may think I am crazy for over loading myself with females lately. I done the same thing several years ago I used to keep 15 big hounds. At one point every bitch I had came in heat within days of each other. And yes I bred everyone of them. And ended up with 45 puppies which gave me 60 hounds at one time. I was feeding one ton of feed every 63 days that is fourty 50lb bags. At the time I was trying to find the line that worked. I was hunting Oney, Wilcox, Hardtime, and Alsome bred hounds. Then by the time I found what was working my older dogs started dying in sequence and everything that I had been working for was gone. It took the zap and desire of hunting out of me and I quit for 5 years. Now I find myself in the same postion. I really truley believe that I have the stud that I need in Roofus. I really feel if his pups are given the chance they will make an impact to the English Breed. Not to go against any calls or Pm's etc. But some of these guys just wear you out wanting to breed and etc then when it comes to it they never show up. Now don't take me wrong I enjoy all conversations and thoughts about it all.. And look forward to many more. I am not a saint either I have guys in NC,OH,TN,VA and WV wanting to go hunting with Roofus and I haven't taken the time out to get that done yet but that will change soon...
So I am rounding up females that I feel will make excellent crosses on Roofus. I sure hope it all works. When breeding you never know how that cross will turn out so you take a 50/50 chance on be successful. For any reason that any hound we raise or own don't suit us we will NOT use it in our breeding program. We want to help bring back the hound traits that have been lost over past few years. Our goal is put 100 pups on the ground out of Roofus while he is still alive. Don't get offended by no means if we refuse to breed your female or sale you a pup. We want to be able to breed the right females and sell his pups to the guys that will give them a fair chance. If those reasons offend anyone we are sorry. Our goal is to protect Roofus and the English breed. Any pup that we sell from our own kennel will be backed with a our 1 year guarantee. Our guarantee is as follows. That if your pup doesn't suit you for any reason by the age of one year I will buy your pup back for the purchase price only or replace it with another pup from another litter the owners choice..

And don't forget about our CASH reward program as well which I have reposted it below..

If any pup reaches all mentioned degrees as listed above the total Cash Reward would pay $1350.00 per pup. So Good Luck to all and let the winning begin...

Junior, I like to line breed. I like to stay close to the line that has always worked for me. I am sure Roofus will cross with a lot of lines but I am hoping Kenny will breed Little Nancy to Roofus sometime. That will be close line breeding but I am sure that it would work.

I am hoping that Blu finishes out and I could breed him back into what Roofus sires. 1/2 brother and sister cross was the best cross I ever made.

The oldest female out of Roofus is gone the minute you turn her loose and you won't see her again until she is under a coon. When she is treed, you can go to town and get a cup of coffee before you go to the tree. Sort of like Roofus wouldn't you say?

I would love to get a video of her and or at least a picture. I am planning on running an ad in this years English Issue of the Coon Hound Bloodline magizine. Roofus currently has 9 pups on the ground. I would love to be able to put a picture of all 9 of them in this upcoming ad. I currently have pictures of 5 of the 9 Thanks, JR

Junior, an old man owns her and we are lucky he keeps the paperwork updated on her. I will ask for a picture or video clip but I don't expect one.

Penny is doing fine... You must be really proud of Coleton's win with Danny Boy... The youth are our future I love to see them being active to this old time sport. I wish them the best of luck.
