well its back on the doxycycline for Crocket. went out to feed him and he isn't feeling good and we have been down this road for years. he usually snaps out of it after about a week of meds so I'm hoping that hasn't changed. I use tick and flea collars, spot ons, and I even have the pest control come out once a month to spray and still we get ticks. I think these suckers are getting immune to the pesticides.

i hear there is some kind of chewable tablet that works good now. i think its all the water my dogs hunt in these big bottoms that causes problems. i might have to try one Mark

Those chews are $20 each and only last 1 month. That good collar is $50 but last all year

I'm not going to have enough time to get him in shape but he will hold his own. A dog that always gets to themselves with a coon makes it hard for tree backers to beat.

Just a solid old coondog that loves to hunt. I put him on here because I love this dog and believe he has lots to offer if desired. What he accomplished last year has only been done by 3 other dogs in our breed history. To me that's special and I'm kinda proud of him.
