Hobo it has been raining everyday for what seems like a month. Back water is out and has the woods flooded. Deer season is in full swing here so I have'nt been doing any hunting around here. The ground is soaked you stand in one spot to long and you will mar-up to your knees. I been helping my neighbor haul cotton to the gin for some extra $. My nephew is back from Afganistan and came over from NC to see us all this week. He has to go to CA for some training for a few weeks and its off to iraq the first of feb. Right now I am full as a tick in a hound dogs ear to much turkey and chess pie. The ole lady and her mom is putting up the christmas tree. It was a year ago she lost her dad so today has kinda been bitter-sweet.

Did everyones boone hound die??? Today is the first time we have seen the sun for what seems like the entire year. Forgot how good it feels to be out on a sunny day even though at work and 40 degrees. Got our FIRST frost this morning even though not a killing one just a light one. The wind was blowing so hard your hat would blow off. Did knock alot of leaves off though. Ready to get back to hunting as soon as the FLOOD water subsides lol.

Hobo I have been working my behind off. Talked to Mike the other morning he said to tell you Hello. Taking Hi to MSU in Starkville to have him collected after the first of the year. Checking on some other things also. My local vet done a sperm count the other day and said he was as fertile as they come. Been talking with a fellow from there they seem to know whats up. Gonna do a freeze/thaw and see what happens to the count. I am learning all about this kinda thing. Gave me some references to call but I have'nt yet but will. Anybody that has had a collection done at MSU let me know how it went.

He said yes he got it and thanks. He sent you a christmas card and was gonna put a coupon for a straw in there, but sealed the envelope before he realized it. Getting cold here low 20's to high teens tonight. Hounds are pacing. Have'nt even seen my Dec issue yet. How many pups does it say boone has?

Just thought I would drop in........

Well hope everyone is doing well. Getting all of our Christmas shopping done and doing a bit of hunting. We have started our male pup off of Latch and Flow and he is doing a fantastic job. WOW what a tree dog. We have another nice young dog off of Fiddler that is doing well also. Huggy Bear(Thunder X Lily) is fixing to make his debut in the next couple a nights. My dad nd I are doing well and Skinner really had the skinny on red heads so I went and got me one too. Kaylee is doing great and has started coon hunting and deer hunting with us, I think I created a monster. Clay Scott also sent us two gorgeous pups out of his Dancer dog off of Son. Look just like their daddy and loud too. I talk to Mike every few days or so and they finished out Dizzy a couple of weekends ago, So look for the ad coming out on him in the near future. Also spread the word that Mike is going to breed a few dual grand females or grand nite females for free so if anyone is interested in breeding to a Grand nite all grand pedigreed stud off of Cutter give him a call. Mike swears Dizzy is Ringo reincarnated....Hope everyone has a great holiday and be safe. God Bless and Good Hunting

P.S. You just never know where or when some REAL BOONE pups will show up???!!!LOL

Hobo I think you are right. It has always amazed me how it always falls in the man's lap. It would'nt surprise me if he has three females bred right now. Of course he should just give us a pup since he will have soooooo many to tend to.

Shoot fire it is cold here. Suppose to be 9 very cold degrees. Hi ask if he could ride up front. Turned him and Dunk loose last night and never heard a peep. 30 minutes later I found them down on the river bank. Hi was starting a fire and dunk was gathering wood. LOL it is cold.

Hey Hobo take his pic and cut it in half thats what he looks like lol. How in the world did you loose 100 lbs???? While back I could eat like a horse and not gain weight. As I get older I LOOK at a banana pudding and gain 5 lbs lol. I try to do good but gosh dang them puddings are great.

Skinner how is your dad? He is one nice fella and I always enjoy visiting with him. What did you end up doing with Darla? Dads pup off this cross is doing outstanding. WOW what a tree dog. I wish his mouth was a little bettter, but I guess the perfect dog doesnt exist.

My pup off Thunder and Lily is super nice, I have high hopes for him and he is super loud and he is wired for 220.

The pups off of Clay's Dancer dog are sure pretty pups and have real good horns on them for little pups. They have loads of color.

Mike Grant is hunting another super nice pup off Cutter. Huge mouth and a real good tree dog. He seems to be very accurate and if there is one thing Mike doesnt like about the dog its he doesnt get open quick enough. They did finish him to nitech though with 2 firsts and a second.

I let a friend of Mike's borrow my old dog, Bo, to train a pup with this season. I called him last night to check and see how they were doing. David just said "Man that dog tree's a ton of coon."
I am glad he is doing a good job for him with his pup. I would kinda like to get him back before long, I miss the old fart.

Well I will check back with you guys in the next few days and see how everyone is doing.

Well I finally remembered how to load these pics I think. Kaylee and I also just got a brand new digital camera so I will posting quite a few new dog pics hopefully through this coon season. Let me see if this will work.

Hey it s the new and improved me and the only thing I have ever found that is better than a Boone Bred Hound(Don't tell Mike!) lol Hope everyone has a good Christmas and New Year. Good Hunting and God Bless.
