Thanks Lloyd that box looks familiar don't it haha.

I hunted truck last night in the $1000 added purse open event and was winning my cast convincingly until the last 10 minutes and caught a bad break and lost. Had a very enjoyable cast though and will regroup today and hunt for the English breed championship tonight

Well no wins this weekend but we tried our best. Truck and Polly both had split trees and had coons in there cast but came up a little short. Hunted against some very nice dogs though and some very good people.

Well double header CHKC hunt at Clearfield County CHC friday! Hope to enter the 2015 PA state race! Weather is supposed to be cooler but hopefully Cloe can put some meat in a tree!

Will be hunting Truck and maybe Irene tonight in CHKC hunt. I am about sick of winter though. It is almost April and is suppose to be in the teens tonight that just aint right haha.

Thanks Daryl and Doug. I hope it was the Onion Snow haha cause I am ready for spring.
Levi hunted Truck in the 1st round and won his cast scoring the only coon during hunt time. Had a scare during a timeout though. All dogs were treed .78 miles away when we got to them Truck was 35 feet up a leaning tree and fell we tried to catch him but couldn't. He bounced off a limb which changed his direction and fell into a brush pile with real deep snow on which probably saved his life. Once he caught his breath he went right back to treeing and is fine although I'm sure he will be sore for a few days.

The TimberJack dogs are"TOUGH"

I am glad he hit that limb it probly not only help him
but also kept one of you guys from getting hurt trying
to catch him we sometimes love our hound to much!

O ya Ed other bad news the onion snow is probably is still yet to come Sorry man!!

Congrats on your wins I figured the winners might be only able to find a few coon in this snow and cold. Wow I'm glad Truck was OK. Dave Mayle's female Holly fell last Wed night and didn't fare as well, she is busted up bad but alive.
Dave goes as Rocketman on here. I have had a few climb but always lucky not too high. Bub Casdorph's male Orville fell from a tree last month but OK. It's something you have no control over. Good job and keep it rolling Ed!

Thanks Daryl and Doug. That is definitely one of the many dangers that our dogs face every time we cut them loose. Lloyd once had to leave Drum in a tree and drive 45 minutes to get a climbing tree stand to get him out. I hope Daves dog has a full recovery I have heard she is nice. Checked Truck this morning is still eating and drinking which is good but is very stiff so he will have a vacation this week to get better

Will be hunting Red and Irene some this week, Irene is starting to look pretty good and shows signs of being pretty independent. Red is 7 months old now and is starting to act more Mature. At 7 months old he is the biggest dog we have haha.

Havent posted any pics in a while so figured i would put a few up, This is Truck and Polly from last week

Last night we took Truck and his Son Red, Treed 1 slick tree and 1 coon, Red opened a couple times on track and was smelling all over the Tree but didnt tree any yet, I can tell by his actions that it shouldnt be long though. They went .69 miles before they struck and treed this coon and Red was there the entire way.

Levi and his Pup Red, Red just turned 7 months old last week and is already bigger than his Sire Truck. Red has never been worked on drags or cage coons, he has been taken for walks in the woods by Levi in the day time and has been out at night about 4 times now.

Hunted in a CHKC hunt tonight at Clearfield County CHC. Me and Cloe pulled two tough dogs in our three dog cast but at the end of the hour Cloe was sittin ontop with 150+. Maybe little bit of luck but still had meat in the tree on a Rainey night and earned $48.75. Also congrats to her brother Truck and Ed, as he finished with 200+ and earned $48.75. Not a bad night when two red ticks come out on top! But thanks to everyone that came out all had a good time!

I remeber when I first took Roscoe out he looked like he was a started dog 1st time out!! than you told me he hadn't seen a coon yet!!!
