well I never did like the army corp anyway..if it was up to them there would be a dam on every creek ,stream and river..all in the name of flood control...well its at st. Louis tonight.lets go cards....

been a cool day here with light rain off and on all day 64 for the high gonna be chilly 1st nite of coon season they say going to get down in the 30s over the weekend

Our coon season don't start till next month,mid 30's here this weekend to.

congrats to the cubs and their fans....talked to Darwin the other day,he still has 2500 coons at the auction house that still aint sold in 2 yrs.he is buying no fur....

That's what I heard also that he wasn't buyin' any hides,until Russia gets their act together,it'll be a long hard ride.Looks like hunters are in for a dry spell.

Big ole windy day,turned ole Gem dog out this mornin' for the last time,got home from work she was layin' on the sidewalk in front of the house & done checked out,just like always wanted me to find her when she was done for the night,14 years of pure pleasure....R.I.P. ole Coma bred dog.

Yes she was,I always said I'd never own a Walker,but she made me eat my words,liked her so much I got 3 more later from the same litter,still got Molly,but the others are done passed on,but she was & will always be my favorite,I couldn't begin to count or carry the coons she treed in her life time. Thanks to Gut Green & Johnny Light for that line of hounds.

that coma blood was good stuff my 1 buddy has a ole coma bred dog said don't think he will make it through this winter think he's 13 yrs old gonna get a big cool down over the weekend they say calling for snow flurries in some of the mountian countys

No snow but callin' for low 30's this weekend,then back in the 70's for next week,I like that.That's what I thought last winter about her,but I strawed heavy & put an old heavy curtain over the front of her dog box,warm as toast in there.

yea ya gota take care of them old dogs in the winter really good or lot's of em won't make it through i feed mine wet in the winter or heat up beef broth some if it's real cold out i just started feed wet last week that keeps em hydrated good 1 of my buddys call he went to a state championship pull over in ohio said only 9 teams showed up want me ta go but had help my buddy that had the heart thing ben tellin him all summer this horse pullin is about over around here

Dang everybody must of bundled down the hatches before this chilly snap,had my heat on last night,was watchin' the Royals Bluejay's game last night till I pooped out at 3-0 KC in the 6th.Forgot ,I got 41 this mornin' so that's better than was expected.

yea it's a cool moroning here to got a frost advisory out from midnite to 10 am sun moronin gonna be chilly huntin tonite

frost here this morning,been a long week of forming and pouring concrete,2 more days of concrete,then I can start doing the carpentry work.
