Had another good hunt last night will post some pictures later. They are cutting alot timber off of my honey hole so hunting in there is gonna get tough. We had two real good chases we maade four trees all in dens...

I finally got at this one video to upload. This chase went deep enough the only hound we could hear was Blu. They were treed for well over an hour before we got to them. This video had to be cut down it is about 7 mins long. Listen to the huge mouth of Blu. They were a good 200 yards deep when they struck.. Enjoy, JR

At camp getting ready to hit the woods with BLU, ROOFUS, and PEPPER. They calling for a bad snow storm to hit this weekend up to 12" maybe more in the high mountians. At camp we are in the high moutains tonight should be a heck of a night... So stay tuned for pics. and possilbe videos. JR

Some pics from last nights hunt

We didn't get out til' late the frost had already fallen and snow was still on ground. The first drop was about 11:00 am and the first drop was the only drop that we managed to tree on. It was good to have Roofus back out. Roofus had 1st strike and 1st tree Blu had 2nd strike and 3rd tree Pepper had 3rd strike and 2nd tree...We made it back at camp around 3:30am planning on gonna again tonight if the snow storm holds off.

Tonight's hunt

Kinda of an exiting night Blu seems to progress more each time out... We had 2 different pack of coyotes working us.. Blu and Pepper caught a coon in a old culvert. We managed to make 5 successful trees 3 holes and one in the culvert. Very pleased with tonight's hunt. Below are some pictures

Blu got bitten in the ear and that made him very unhappy he imedatley put the death hold on after that. It was a long chase that went across two ridges so I felt they earned it.

We made 4 drops 2 dens 1 pine 1 hole we left Roofus at home I will try to upload a video soon of tonights hunt stay tuned...

Wasn't so pleasent we made 2 drops 1st drop resulted in a leaner which we couldn't find the coon anywhere so I guess they missed. 2nd drop they stretched a stripper (skunk) lepew.... So our hunt was over after that..... :O
