I got Roxy's DNA kit in the mail today, I am gonna be sending it out tomorrow.

You should receive the certificate in about 4 weeks

Yes Sir. I shocked her off a possum sittin high on a limb, and that was all the reminder that she needed. Afterwards her and rolled in over 600yds and set down with the meat, and held the tree until we was able to walk back to the truck, and drive around to retrieve them.

I'm gonna try to make it out to Springfield club saturday after work if I can get off early enough.

Me and Kent got her DNA swab done and put in the mail last Thursday so you should be seein that certificate in about 4 weeks. And I still am plannin on Springfield hunt tonight.
There shouldn't be any reason why I can't make the 8pm hunt deadline, but I'm gonna try to get off early so I can make the 6pm show deadline.
She only needs a best of show with competition to make CH.

I should have my DNA certificate back from the UKC this week. I'll send it to the PKC and also get Jack performance paid this month so that he'll be in the clear long before anything has to happen.

He's been working like a Hebrew Slave. He goes into work about 0400 and doesn't get off till a little after 1800. He's been doing that for several days straight due to some real "intelligent" people at work making schedules.

He's had her in the woods when he has the chance in between shifts.

Tom sorry I missed your call the other day I was at werk. They have me werkin 8 days straight and floppin from days yesterday, to a couple night shifts then back to days for Friday.

I was able to make it out last night for the openin night of season. I left the house at 8pm and was home around 11 and had my 2 coon limit.
I cut Jim and Roxy loose along the edge of a picked field corn that we have been havin a good bit of luck at. They both got.struck quick and burnt a lil over 200yds in. When I got there they were both really knockin it.down on a lil walnut tree that was viney and growed up around. There was a opossum sittin low in a tree to the left but we know they didn't.run that thing over 200yds.
I led them away about 100yds the other direction to get as far away from.the highway as possible and cut loose again. Shortly thereafter at 135yds it was on again. This time almost 300yds and had a awful time finding what ended up bein 2 ol ring tails.

It was a perfect night, rainin and cloudy with a good temp. We had a real good showin last night, and hopefully that is a sign of a good season.

Got the DNA on Roxy in the mail today.
I got to thinking I bet she will come in about 23rd o24 of December.She usually the last of June and may be about 6 month the last of December. I will try to give you a call later I have a idea
on something.
