Here is a video of Bam's mother and a granddaughter of Bam Bam II treeing a coon here in Illinois. I couldn't show the coon because he went up a hedge fence row that had trees with touching limbs that went an 8th of a mile either way.

I have heard from reliable sources that Murder Creek Blue was the best dog R.F. Dickey ever owned.

Here is an oldie but goodie. This video is a copy of a copy and has poor audio and video quality. But, the dog's abilty was great. Ruby was a daughter of Thunder Bingo and was a littermate to Nite Champion Campus Creek Ginger and also Grand Champion Nite Champion Coon Sackin' Sandy's and Sam's mother. She is one of the few I made Nite Champion. Sam is a littermate to Coon Sackin' Sandy and I think had 3 wins towards Grand. If a hard competition hunter owned Sam, he would have easily finished as a Grand.

I will come up with better Ruby and Sam videos in the future.

The reason I put this video on Bam's thread is that soon after I made this video, I bred Ruby to Grand Night Champion Briar Creek Houdini, a dog Jim Ridge still says was his best ever competition dog. Ruby only had 2 pups. A male was sold to a fellow that lived near St Louis. The dog made a Nite Champion at 1 year old and was later sold to a meat hunter in Missouri. He was bred to a daughter of Briar Creek Zeb. One of the resulting pups was Bob Jane's Sally. About a month ago, we bred Sally to Ranson's Bam. Bob called and said Sally is starting to show. Don't think less of Sally because she doesn't have a bunch of titles, Bob is an old time meat hunter who doesn't feed a dog 5 years that doesn't consistantly produce coon in coon season. These pups that are coming should really be something. Most are spoken for.

All Pm's answered May have a nice female coming to breed to Bam. She has produced at least 1 GrniteCh and 1 NiteCh with four wins towards Grand. The down fall is her age she is coming twelve years old she is Woodstock bred.

This mornings hunt....

I went hunting at 4:06 am this morning we struck a track at 6:34. They struck in a drain like it was red hot but when the track got away from the water the shut up then they drifted the track and treed deep 1.8 miles on garmin in a den it was daylight before I got to the tree. I will post a video soon... Bam and Sue... Bam done pretty good... I am liking him alot...

2/25/13 hunt

Here is tonight's hunt video its is totally uncut it is from the time I turned loose til the coon was fed to the hounds. Its is 18:39 mins long. Please note my one and only complaint on my Se female ie she ove mouths a track she will be 2 mid May. She is ready for the hunts now if I will just put her in them. Sue is a direct Daughter of NiteCh GrCh 'PR' Maddy Gees Roofus. She will be bred to GrCh NiteCh 'PR' Ransom's Bam when she comes in heat. All Pm's answered... Just a little note Sue should have already been in heat.. I really thought she was coming in I have kept a close check on her and nothing has changed.

That is probably the first meat Bam has had in a long, long time. He looks great for a dog that was always hunted in flat country.
