Ruger is a nice hound with the total package gritty hunt,heart/desire, brains, and plenty of foot. Sounds like he has pups doing well in trials as well. A real rabbit dog not a "hyped up stud dog". His pedigree has dogs with a big influence and good trial records in ARHA little pack trials.

Ole Ruger didnt get the East Eliminator win this year but did manage to get 8th out of 154 dogs total. Not a bad showing for last years beast of the east!

Sounds like my young Ruger male is following his daddy's footsteps. He likes the front and continues to improve each time out. I wish I would have gotten this pup when he was a bit younger and I think he would have been even further along. I would like to have a female or male for that matter from Ruger in the future. Please let me know if you have any breedings planned. I would even like to try to get a female to him in the future.

Another pup out of Ruger became champion this past weekend. All he needed was a cast win to champion. After going out to run in the winners pack, which he won the cast. The last rabbit of the hunt, they were running a rabbit and got a line. After the line they drove it about another 100 yards and then broke down. The hunt ended. They started calling dogs but could not find 2 of the dogs. The judge went in looking for the dogs and found both of them dead next to a bear bedding. This was very unfortunate because ole Ranger was young and was capable of accomplishing a whole lot more in his life. Connor Meade, the young man in the picture was running him.

Ruger won this past weekend 5/20/2017 in a ARHA little pack hunt. Soon to add another championship to his name title. 30 points to go for the old man! He's doing more than I ever imagined! He just does not want to quit! His son Cottonmouth's Crusin' 4A Bruisin, placed 8th in his first ever LP hunt.

Congrats Shane and Ruger! My male is just over a year old and he is doing well! I can't wait to get him entered in a few trials!! Ruger is throwing some nice looking pups! I love the blueticks and red ticks!

After much thought I will be raising the stud fees for Ruger. If you had already contacted me and I told you I would breed him to your gyp for the normal price of $150, I will still honor that, but I am now changing it to $250. Ruger is almost a Little pack champion and is starting to produce some awesome pups coming up. The response I get when I tell people my stud fee is "Why you stud him so cheap". This is a quality hound that is worth the extra money! If you would like to breed to Ruger please let me know.
