If you get tired of being Haze's pimp call me and I will relieve you...LOL
Willow looked GOOD last night, good track and slammed a tree with a real live racoon looking down at us...those pups will be something else...
Haze x Willow...hey Buck will Moose fit in mommy's car so you can go hunting? Or is it you are afraid to ask her for permisson to put him in there?
David
Pastor Mike, there is another male right close that isn't doing anything but sitting in the pen also. Maybe you could take him.
Richard rumor has it that they both may have a pass for Thursday night we will see Boo Boo was to full of cake and Ice cream to go tonight

Haze
After I got home from taking Moose hunting tonight....I decided that I would load up Haze and turn him loose. It was 1:40am when I turned him loose. He hunted out for about 20 minutes and then struck. He laid one up. I got a couple of pictures....one is probably the best tree picture I have ever gotten of him.....plus.....he looks just like his daddy (Rabble Rouser) in the picture. Haze is probably the toughest hound to try and get a good picture of while he is treeing. He always goes around to the other side of the tree right before you snap the picture. Well, this tree was smaller so if he went to the other side, I could still get a pic. It was nice to get him out. Tonight has only been the 3rd time in the last year that he has been hunting. He sure acted giddy when I first turned him loose, I think he was glad to hit the woods.

Haze
I'll be looking forward to seeing that picture Mike...I know how he is to try and get a picture of...it's like he just knows we're about to snap it and is convinced that something bad is gonna happen if he just stands still.
It was good to hear Moose last night, thanks for leaving that message.

Here is Haze last night. This pic sure does remind me of Haze's Sire, Rabble Rouser. Tom will be a better judge of the resemblance but he sure looks like him to me.
This is a decent pic of Haze considering how hard it is to actually get a good pic of him.
It was a good hunt for Haze since he had not been out in so long. It was tough on me since I didn't get home until 3:30am...

Similarities
Yes, he reminds me of Rabble Rouser, very similar to how the old boy treed in that picture Mike...
Not so long ago...
From the distant past...
That's a nice picture of Haze Mike, I know how hard it is to try and get him on film but it's easy to see in that picture that he's glad to be back in the woods...although I think he's been having a high ol' time in the stud pen too

Oh my goodness, talk about cookie cutters, just look at the pictures of Slam, Haze and then Rabble!!!! Talk about 3 peas in a pod. I guess that is what you get when you linebreed.

Isn't Rabble out of a Bomber female and Haze is out of Rabble and another Bomber female, making him Double Bomber? Who was Bomber's mother out of?
Females
Yes, Haze is out of a Bomber female and so is Rabble...in fact...those two females are full sisters out of Bomber and Bell. Raven and Pigeon are sisters out of different litters but sisters just the same.
When we mated Pigeon to Rabble, it was nephew to aunt, tight line bred to say the least. It turned out to be a pretty good cross with Haze and Sid being Gr. Nite and Hernie being a Nt. Ch. There was another that had 2 first place wins before being hit on the road so it was a nice cross.
You'd be right to say that Haze is double Bomber in 3 generations and triple Rusty in 4-5 generations. Toss in Rat, Raven and Rocky and it's would even tighter to old Sam and so lots of Ace back in that pedigree.
I walked to Rabble Rouser many a time and I don't think I can remember one time when he wasn't up on the side of a tree like that. I believe most of that comes from Raven going back to Bomber because Rat and Rocky were not stand on the wood tree dogs. Rat would get up there but only when alone and Rocky would chew a tree down but he wouldn't climb up on them much. Old Sam would get up on the wood so going back further, maybe that's where some of it comes from.

I took Moose and Haze for drop around 11pm last night. Got some decent pictures but of course Haze went back to his normal self and stayed behind the tree most of the time..
Da Moose
Haze trying to be photogenic...

COOL
Great pictures Mike...those two together are something you can look back on a long time from now and realize it was history in the making.
I'll also have to say that it does my heart good to see ol' Moose slobbering up the place again, just like before he got sick...there was a time where I wasn't sure we'd ever see that again.
Great pictures!

Pastor Mike, that is a good looking couple of Rabblers that you have there. I am glad to see all three of y'all back in the woods. Now if you could just get Boo Boo back out there with you. I finally got to talk to him and he said that he was planning on Mon night.
Nice looking on the wood treeeedogs!!!!!
