a little after 11 here,treed 3 coons and 2 dens..knocked one out to the hound,didnt get a good hit on it,got the dog eat up a little.got to get up early and go check the traps in the morning..

the lights charged ,the dawgs charged,iam charged,i think I will charge for the timber here in a bit..had 9 rats this morning..6 in the leg holds and 3 in the 110's

that's a pretty good take rex is the hides worth much nowdays my dog is charged and all my equipment is ready but my battery neds charged i walk way back on some county property my left knee start givein out on me took me almost a hr ta get back next time i'll drive my truck around won't have ta walk very far seen a place over there ole buck got it tore up but didn't see anything all afternoon

Just did get the internet back,dang mice chewed up wires in a phone box 6 miles south of my place & screwed up phone also,dirty little turds.Started my therapy yesterday & been workin' it here today also,the gal said it's real tight(no duh) & the cut was real long so I might be a while till I'm back 100%,told her I'm gonna shoot for Christmas or before,gotta be healed up before squirrel season goes out,she don't think so but AK's been coachin' me on what to do,feels better every time I work it.

treed 2 coons last night.dawg ended up across the river that added a extra half mile of walking..HB,iam giving the hides to a taxidermy guy,cant find anyone around here anymore that will even buy hides..Chuck I dressed out 3 of the 7 rats I had this morning for the frying pan,i like them just as good as rabbit ..going again tonight I guess,the boys coming up for a hunt..i will let him do most of the walking tonight...

well that was the best hunt of the year..the boy and his buddy came up, we treed 3 coons.i parked my azz on the tailgate and ate deer sausage on ritz crackers with cheese and drank hot coffee while they walked to the dog..i liked it...

That hunt report was more like a fox hunter than a coon hunter,but them boys got less miles on 'em so to be a sport about it you gave them time to catch up

well them boy are young and dumb and full of it,we made one tree that I told them we could drive around to another road and it would be a hellava lot closer...they said no we will walk it... I said go for it...

That's a nice sized buck there HB,ought ta have them post it on the 2015 UKC buck pole.Dreary ole day here kinda chilly,therapy girl said I'm doin' good on the movement. WHOOPIE !!!!!!!

Around here we ain't got the whoppers like we had after the blue tongue went threw,but east & north of here they can be found.Just about dark it started snowin',got a small but track able amount. yea i seen that on tv this evening yep just givein the anti gun bunch try and get more control not sure whats gone on with the deer here haven't sen a deer all season here expect the 1s that been comein in to the feeder sense early fall if my hip and knee quits hurtin i may go up to the big woods at dent's run public hunting area bout 1700 acres ta hunt

sat it out tonight .snowed a lick here...aint talking politics ..for us older guys we remember' back in the day'..you knew all your neighbors.hardly ever seen a no trespassing sign.your neighbor was your friend, you helped each other out. not so much anymore. cant hardly turn a hound loose anymore without someone complaining....glad I aint starting out these days..peta,humane activiests. ,when we were kids it was fun to hunt with your kin and your friends kin folk.now its iffy at best..i remember when a coondawg spoke for its self and the owner of that coondawg didn't have to say a thing..everybody knew a coondawg when they seen one.papers and titles didn't mean a thing back then. some of the best I ever seen didn't have no papers....ok I will get off my soap box now..

Yep I sure am glad I ain't startin' out young these days,told the boys the worst thing I could of done to them is bring 'em up in this watered down version of the times.

Well it warmed up enough to melt the snow,very little left went walkin' & only seen 1 gray squirrel & not anything else movin'. Last 2nd shotgun season started today w/ no shots heard,so far deer in the clear.
