Wade... you need to sneak some coondawgs into the hospital... they have PROVEN that patting a dawg lowers the bloodpressure!
Seriously, I did used to take my greyhounds to visit nursing homes etc... but they are VERY quiet dogs... I know a few coonhounds who would have been good visiting dogs UNLESS a smaller critter was visiting at the same time (I had a visiting kitty too)... It is best not to have elderly or sick people hear the beautiful song of the coonhound.... inside!

Do hope your wife will be feeling better soon. Think positive and we will send soothing calming thoughts and healing prayers her way!

We really appreciate your asking and prayers and absolutely i'm about to bring Harper up here but, some people might get on here with their sarcastic remarks or feel left out in some way..lol

As for the jealousy...it's in all the breeds... it is in ALL animal breeding... any competitive sport etc... I guess it is human nature.... Best to just ignore... I have been MUCH better at ignoring it myself... if I like a dog, a bloodline, a person etc... I post-PERIOD... I know some people I like don't like others and all that stuff... I have decided to IGNORE it all...LOL...

Keep doing what you're doing and have fun with your dawgs. Most importantly... family first
Will be with you in prayer, Heather (and Bob too... although he is at "music night" right now... lol...I can HEAR them all playing in the basement music room! LOUD!)
