Is it a BDL, ADL, or????which will impact value, usually tasco not a high end real expensive scope, nice guns...
Hillbilly I wouldn't know a thing what that guns worth but it sounds like a good deal,1 thing I can tell ya both gun & dog can be stolen but the gun won't die or eat. And if ya get to keep your Garmin then better yet.
quote:that's 1 thing i forgot to ask what model it is i know if it's a bdl it would be worth more yea the tasco is not a expensive scope

am a gun dealer, prefer the older ones, do like the .243, accurate-versatile, have 7mm mag ruger #1, should be a good trade for you, in illinois can't use rifle to deer hunt, shotgun and slug, muzzleloader, and a pistol season, most deer I have ever seen was in WV....
quote:, Several years ago I loaned a young fellow my TC Hawken , anyway he brought it back to me and the double trigger was broken , can you fix it or do you know a good gunsmith that can ? Thanks .

That's the way Barney is can build 1 from scratch but don't get in no hurry, does good work real nice fella but slow as molasses in the winter.

HB, look at gunbroker.com, will be tons of them listed, many variations, but will give you an idea of what they may bring, as always worth what someone is willing to pay, but are good rifles....
Know what you mean, still healthy and in good shape for an old guy, but hills get higher and creeks deeper, spirit willing, but flesh is getting weak...
