I can already say for sure that Crocket dominates the looks of his pups. These seem to look like all the others I've seen and nothing like Punkin or her prior litter. And I do like their looks!

Nice looking pups Eddie. It seems it is easier to breed looks into a strain that are top performers than it is to breed performance into a line that bred for looks only.

Ive always bred for ability first!! Will make em pretty later!
I,ve always said. I have found out that if you breed for performance the looks naturally come as a fast dog looks fast and then the feet , arch, mouth and stamina.

A hound with deep chest has more lung space, longer legs make em fast , it all comes together over time!!

exactly right John! its all about breeding pieces, ability first, looks last. we can all have the kind of hound we want if we breed for it.

I really appreciate everyone that has or is using Crocket as your Stud. Breeding is a time consuming thing and costs lots of money raising pups. Knowing this makes me appreciate all of you even more for bringing your prize females to be breed. Time and hard hunting will tell how the pups turn out and I sure look forward to the future.

Zeb Meyers posted a short video of his and Curtis Todd's pup out of Crocket x Punkin that I will try to get on here. Good looking, good acting, loud pup for only 3 months old. Glad to see pups get in the right hands.

I am confident that my Grace gyp will contend for the Triple Crown in 2017 and have expectations of winning it with her. She is the hardest going hound in the country and super accurate. Grace can also fall treed on a layed up coon right in front of you while running wide open. She will 99% of the time be by herself treed unless the other dogs me too her. Get ready to see some of these Crocket pups burning up the winners circle
