I didn't get any late night texts from Va last night/this AM so I guess that no one went to Bland. I guess that y'all either can't hunt two nights in a row or you were so dissapointed Fri night that you stayed home to lick your wounds. I took Wendy last night and she looked like a million dollars on 3 coons so I guess that you know what that means. I am sure that Jason knows. But Wilma's pups are now weaned so she will have to take over as my new pup trainer.

I would have liked being there a lot more than back at the hospital. Had to come back around 6 this evening. Still here. Just finished a CT scan of my head. I'm afraid they won't find anything up there. Lol. Of course they had to put me on Valium and morphine to help with the headache. I have to admit. The last 3 and a half days have been miserable. I just hope when this stuff wears off the headaches don't come back.

P Mike, maybe this will help. Here is a picture for my history book, a couple of old fat girls treed together. I guess that just about everyone in the Cartel has hunted/handled one or the other of them. They have Haze, Moose, Rabble, Sally, Willow and Pigeon flowing through their veins. This may be the only picture of them together. One or the other of them is either pregnant, has a litter of pups or in heat most of the time. Wendy just started bleeding and Wilma just weaned her pups so I figured that I better take them last night and see what they would do together.

Thanks guys. Been a rough week and it's still got a hold on me just not as tight. I weighed 185 last Saturday and this morning I weighed 167. Fever still spiking up and still have lingering headaches. The lymes test came back negative which was good news. I thought we had it beat yesterday but last night it reared its ugly head again. Thanks for the well wishes, I appreciate them.

I didn't hunt. The good news is I am on day 2 without a headache. I can't go to christiansburg tonight but I don't have anything tuned up anyways.

A lot of an a lot of.coons treed every cast but one saw coons my cast it came down to the last 14 minutes all 4 dogs were between 125 and 225 it was great red hot coon all dogs were driving screaming full throttle and than in a flash quick as wink they all fell treed no doubt 3 of them treed at same instance but having to split the strike 4 ways made the difference in the end I came up short but had a blast it was fun everyone was calling there dog we had splits trees twice a lot of action but our score was low because for most of the hunt 25 was the most strike points ya could get

But not only the good work of all the hounds but the handlers as well finding and showing other dogs coon even when your dog wasn't there knowing that was going to put behind only had one dog with 25 minus all night it was fun complete opposite of the RQE I hunted last weekend it was no fun at all

I got beat...was in it all the way, leading at one point, but one track and tree was the difference between win or as Earnhardt use to say the first loser...our cast winner had 475 plus

Oh my goodness, 50 yrs old and an "empty nester". It won't be long now and he will be an old retired grandpaw. My how time flys. Linkous, he might catch up to Bond but he will never catch up to you. Happy getting older day, Jason. Just remember that you are only as old as you feel. Wilma and Wendy are both back home now and just sitting here. If you need a good pup trainer, I need a good handler.
