hobo you have created a monster. i've been tearing the house apart looking for pictures to post.took me about a hour to get my scanner figured out (it's been out of commission for 2 years) and here are some more of my boone's thunder hounds.

Where is everyone? Anybody been hunting we have been twice this week so far treed 3 in 2 drops not bad for a bunch of mutts. Going to try to go Saturday night for a quick one.

Was having a ukc hunt tonight at the club. Was sitting around and got to thinking about my cb STILL not being here for the 39th month straight in a row and said forget it I'll use that money for something else. Sooooooo I took Hanna out for a hunt tonight. Had a good time other than it is sloppy and muddy as all get out. She did tree twice once slick or my eyes are getting bad lol (big snag tree) and one sitting way up top. She tracked that joker for 45 minutes before he finally went up. I thought she done a great job on that one.

Hope everyone had a great and safe hunt tonight. You all take care and if you need anything...hollar loud.

Yeah I went to a PKC hunt Thursday nite with Shadow and won my cast with 100+ and won $31.50 .

Skinner if Hanna treed that coon at the very top of that little tree you should of been able to hit him with a stick .LOL You no I am just messing with yall. Take Care and don't treed them all.

ROFL I guess she was pushing him so hard he ran up the first thing he came to lol. That was one of the biggest vines I have seen in awhile. It ran all the way up to that big tree on the left in the bottom pic. The coon was sitting way up in the top. She kept treeing on the vine I guess that is what he climbed up. I was worried the vine kept swaying back and forth I was afraid it would break loose and kill both of us lol.

Scotty are you hunting Hobo's Shadow female or a different Shadow I don't know who has her now? Yep we had a pkc hunt last night

He's hunting my Shadow female.After last night I'm gonna have to keep a close eye on him,he'll be tring to keep her.LOL

My parents came up today and i didn't think I'd be able to hunt tonight.After much sitting around the house and telling myself what a great night it was to be in the woods I told my Dad to get dressed we were going hunting.I figured if I had him with me my Mom couldn't fuss toooooooooooo much.LOL
I cut loose at 9:02 and they made a loop around the patch of woods I turned them in and were back at the truck at 9:10.I caught Boone but Maverick got by me and didn't listen to the come command.HMMMMMM He was gone a couple of mins when he hit a cold trail.So I pulled Boone out of the box and cut him into Maverick.They trailed a short ways and came treed.We drove close as I could get the Ol'Man and went to the tree.It was a big den so we loaded up and headed home.

Hobo sounds like ole Maverick may be a keeper...however he has a warm box in TN should he need one lol. Glad you got to hunt with your dad you cherish those memories and remind both your parents how much you love them.

i happen to own a double dohoneys boone male that looks like a carbon copy to ole boone, and that is a track power dog with a good mouth and looks to boot. he should grand out this summer, i just want to thank mike for producing an outstanding line of dogs. he has been a joy to hunt. i also know of a nice female that is a litter mate to my dog in this area that also is very nice, anyone interested in talking boone please e-mail thank you

You asked me if I could think of an example of Stylish Clover breeding in the Boone line.

It took some research, but here is what I found. The "Lipper's Stylish Lawyer" dog is an example.

A male named Elkhorn Creek Outlaw was crossed on a female that was double Stylish Clover bred. Outlaw was direct out of Boone. Out of that cross came a female named Stylish Dot (who would have been a grand daughter to both Stylish Clover and Boone. Dot was breed to Lipper semen, and that produced Lipper's Stylish Lawyer.

There is another dog called Hardings Blaze' who's sire is out of Stylish Ann (Hard Knocking Hayes x Stylish Anna who is a littermate sister to Stylish Clover) His dam is out of the Whiskey dogthat was straight out of Boone.

The common thread to all of these dogs is the old Hickory Nut Harry dog. Boone is out of Mike, Mike was double Hickory Nut Harry bred....

So to answer your direct question. I don't know of any cross that was made on a Boone Daughter directly to Stylish Clover, or vice versa, but there are some examples of grand daughter/grand son crosses.

Hey all you Boone Groupies....

Hope everyone is doing well, all is good here on the homefront. Been tearing up the timber with Huggy and things are looking good. Took some real good pics of him treed last nite and should get them posted in the next day or two. I finally got all the info and pics in on Diz for everyone, I wont get to post his "treed" pic until tomorrow, for some reason it didnt copy to disk, but here is the little stud and his ugly owner. LMAO.

The weather has been beautiful here the last week and the coon are really moving. Kaylee and I bought a new female and will be pushing to finish her to dual grand this spring right after I finish "Big Kate". Her name is CH NITECH Gunslinging Kitty. Flow is in heat and we are going to breed her to GRCH NITECH Reed's Kansas Gator next week. He is a littermate to my old dog and is heavy Minklers Kansas Dancer bred. He just needs 2 wins to finish Dual Grand and Mike is going to finish him out this spring.

I am adding a Stud page on the classifieds for Mike on Dizzy, so everyone needs to check out the pics and all his info if your curious.

THE ALL BOONE HUNT
Is in the works. We are planning on the first weekend in June and are working out a location right now. The phone bill is going up from calling people and vendors all over the country. We expect it to be bigger and better this year. It will be another St. Judes event and we are going to try and bring in a UKC minislam or something if at all possible. We have lots of new ideas on activities for the daytime and good hunting and friends for the evening. If anyone has any ideas or questions just give me a shout.

Dizzy sure is a looker and looks like a big one also. Do you happen to know when those pups will be weaned. That way I can start planning a way to get her here.

We are going to make a drop tonight me the wife and my youngun. I believe I will take Cane and see how he does on his first hunt? He has never been and only seen one coon when he was really young but loves a hide or tail. It may be interesting
