Number of serious or critical cases in the whole USA are back down to 23,838. What happened to "It is going to get worse"? What happened to the "crisis"? I guess that there are 2 different ways to deal with a panicdemic. One is to downplay and reassure the public while trying to control it and the other is to overplay and make a crisis out of it.

Scientists uncover potential antiviral treatment for COVID-19

‘Deadly carrot’-derived antiviral Thapsia villosa, commonly known as
the deadly carrot.

Scientists are extolling the efficacy of a wonder drug in combating not only Covid-19 but influenza and other respiratory illnesses, in what may pave the way for a new generation of medicines to prevent future pandemics.

The study, published in Viruses, shows that thapsigargin is a promising broad spectrum antiviral, highly effective against COVID-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2), a common cold coronavirus, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and the influenza A virus.

In this ground-breaking study, the team of experts found that the plant-derived antiviral, at small doses, triggers a highly effective broad-spectrum host-centred antiviral innate immune response against three major types of human respiratory viruses—including COVID-19.

Whilst we are still at the early stages of research into this antiviral and its impact on how viruses such as COVID-19 can be treated, these findings are hugely significant.

The drug remains stable in hostile, acidic environments, such as the human stomach, meaning it can be administered orally, without the need for injection or hospital admission, saving precious resources in the process.

The researchers also claim the drug, derived from the ‘deadly carrot’ thapsia plant, is several hundred times more effective than the current arsenal of antiviral treatments and is also effective against combined infections.

The key features based on cell and animal studies, which make thapsigargin a promising antiviral are that it is:

---effective against viral infection when used before or during active infection
---able to prevent a virus from making new copies of itself in cells for at least 48 hours after a single 30-minute exposure.
---stable in acidic pH, as found in the stomach, and therefore can be taken orally, so could be administered without the need for injections or hospital admission.
---not sensitive to virus resistance.
---at least several hundred-fold more effective than current antiviral options.
---just as effective in blocking combined infection with coronavirus and influenza A virus as in single-virus infection.
---safe as an antiviral (a derivative of thapsigargin has been tested in prostate cancer)

Well every single scientist, Doctor and expert has said to reopen in person schools. But the unionized teachers in big city schools are refusing to go back to work. Dictator Biden has not done a thing or even said a word about compelling the teachers to return back to the classroom.

The number of critical/serious cases in America are down to 23,159 now. The economy continues to improve. The problem now are restaurants, plane travel and schools. Guess what, all of these are being controlled by our government. Our government is using covid to scare us, create a panic and try to make us dependant on them. Our government won't just release the vaccine. They dole it out and control who gets it.

The number of serious/critical cases is down to 22,500 in America today. We are still waiting on it "to get a lot worse before it gets better". The economy continues to improve as the Democratic governors release the death grip they have on their states. I guess that Dictator Biden wouldn't be able to claim that there was a "crisis that affects National Security" if we were doing better. What I don't understand is if the "Covid crisis" affects National Security, how can he use it to open up the border and reinstate catch and release. You would think that if our National Security was really threatened, he would want to close the border.

Nearly 50 fifty people in Texas had to be treated for drinking bleach after the orange idiot suggested that exact thing....space aliens would suggest this woman is less than legit and the Texas AMA warned her about her misinformation, Fauci has never supported hydroxychloroquine for the novel corona virus period! So if they got the information on line, it didn't come form Trump. Bleach does kill the virus. That's common knowledge. Now Trump didn't say drink bleach, he jokingly said inject it. So I would think the people who drank it didn't get their information from President Trump.
