I`ve been getting calls on people wanting pups off of Stinger ,well I`m not planning on using him until early next year.I have enough young hounds out of him for now.I usally raise one litter a year and this year I bred Tree Daddy to Fly which is off of Ellis Blue Jim semen I`m hoping for some females off of this cross.their are a few people wanting to breed to Tree Daddy when their female comes in heat.I whold like to see Turbo Blue get a few females bred to him he is a real nice hound and is in northern Ohio he is off of Tree Daddy and a female off of Tramp.I want to Thank everybody who calls and gives me updates.

I wanted to give a update on my two females out of Legend.I have one out of Super Fly and one out of Lou.tonight I took these two females and you know a man can be lucky every now and then.tonight I happen to see one cross in front of me so I turned both female`s and they treed him around 20 yards from the road and both did a nice job.my female off of Super Fly I call her Sue she is doubled up on Cory Mailes Sue she is going to be on her way to New York State.this is a super good acting female with a outstanding mouth and i`m sure good things are in store for her.the only reason i sold her is I felt she is going to a hard hunter and if she turns out will be put in the hunts UKC and PKC this played a big part for me letting her go.I have a few more i`m going to let go.I have to many young hounds coming on at the same time.they will be priced reasonable for what they are doing in the timber.I`ll try to get hold of the guys who called me this weekend.good hunting.

I went out for a couple drops with Tom Jennings and Legends Image.This young hound has 7 shots of EBJ flowing thur his veins.all I can say is WOW he has so much natural ability and what a mouth on him.its good to see EBJ linage hounds reproducing such good natural ability.I know hounds direct off of EBJ you could start them at 5 months of age and it looks like it hasnt changed any.Tom took a video of Image he should get it uploaded thursday after work.

That little rascal sure has plenty of giddy up! He sure wasn't scared of the dark the night I hunted with him several weeks ago. Very nice mouth as well, I thought he sounded very similar to Legend. We drug a track with a fresh road kill & hung it up. Man on man, ole Image made a racket on that thing. Squalling & carrying on! LOL Keep on putting out those good ones Matt. I think Tom may even hold on to him for a little while! LOL

Another thing I liked about Image is he didn`t just go in and run with Foxy he ran in a wheat field a complete different track and yes he used his mouth real well.I really like a independent hound and this young male gets this honest.I`ve always liked natural born leaders and he sure enough is one.Vic, I hope to get out with you the next time you come up.take care.

Hounds are doing good I was going to hunt tonight but had the grandchildren over and we sure had fun.the hounds will have to take the back burner when the boys come over they are a hand full.I don`t have to work this weekend so hopefully i`ll be gettin out some.

I thought I would go back a little more on Fly`s pedigree I have 6 generation on her this is the Star female that Les Mitchell bred to EBJ semen they were 8 pups 4 males and 4 females.as far as I know they all are alive. 6/17/2007 DOB.

I`m just getting in from a short hunt and I had planned on a longer hunt but my light went dead shinning the first tree.it turned out my charger is bad.so I plugged in my old one and it still works so looks like tuesday night should go a little better for me.I`ve been working four young hounds and it sure is hard leaving the older hounds home.Congrats to Chris Cadle for getting Toby back he is off of Stinger.Chris had a littermate to Toby last year that he was liking real well that died way too young.
I`m looking forward to this cooler weather coming our way.

I hunted my Legend X Lou female last night and she is a natural and will stretch out on a tree amd is looking & sounding real nice.Powder looked real nice too.Country and Tree Daddy looked good also,Tree Daddy hasn`t been hunted for a couple months but you couldn`t tell it.
Good Luck to Jason Carrol on his Legend and Super Fly female.she is a outstanding young female for her limited hunting ,I`m sure we`ll be hearing and reading about her in the next year.she can hunt in the baby stakes for three years.

I just returned home from a great hunt,my grand daughter went with me for the first time.she said she had a good time and wants to go again.I didn`t want to keep her out real late.we looked at two coon with Country and had a little luck picked up a fresh road kill for my Legend Lou female,made a drag and she blew the tree down.this was her third night in the woods and she started the first night I took her.she is a very good acting pup, with looks to spare. my grand daughter already claimed her as her female.LOL

I had a good talk with Don Hoefferle from Wis.they treed some bear already,sure sounds like a good time.I hope I can make it up this year.

Sounds like you had 1 of the best hunts of your life.I really enjoyed hunting with my children and still do.Hailea my grand daughter doesn't like to hunt but she really likes to help with the dogs.Annalee my little grand daughter is now a year old and hunting with her dad.

hi matt we ran bear the last 3 days got to see some real good dog work. skipper and molly are really looking good. they are the finest pair of females i've owned. stinger should be proud of them. scout is making a good start dog off bait. she also rigs off the truck. i have a little female called fly 10 months old doing good. she is fast enough to keep up with blue and skipper. she is smokey river bred, also a grand daughter to bud and annie. matt arrived today, don also was along today. hope you can make it sometime this year. the fish have been bitting lately. good hunting dennis

Its good to hear from everybody treeing bear with their Stinger hounds.its good to hear they are running out front in the pack with the GPS,what a great tool.it sounds like the females that were off of Spot and Dennis`Upson`s Coco bred back to Stinger are doing really good.Lou is off of this cross and Cookie.

hello boomer is doing a great job he was 12 months old in june does everythig the old dogs do, has been since he was 6 months old. we hunted again today saw some more good dog work. anyone intrested in seeing them go is welcome. matt hope you can make it sometime this year. good hunting dennis

I haven`t hunted her any in any hunts.I need to hunt her by herself for a good solid month,she is a very nice female and will get her share of everything going on and loves to split.Powder is a pretty nice female and i`m glad I have her.I took her last night for a small hunt sure was hot.I`m hoping she will have a date with Tree Daddy next time she comes in heat.
Dennis are the hounds doing good in the heat wave.sure is hot here and going to be for three more days.

I was talking to Les Mitchell tonight he has a real nice litter of pups off of Buzz Anderson`s Rush male.Les said he went back to Diam.Jim`s brother Pierce`s Blueboy heavy.Les bred his female off of Ellis Blue Jim.This is heavy in old blood.Les is going to send me the pedigree on Rush.its good seeing these men still breeding.
Dennis,good talking to you,I`m ready for some cooler weather here.i`m sure you and Mike and Don will have a grand time running.Ol Stinger is doing good and I should have another litter out of him here in the spring.
