Mike, I think we were up in Alleghany county or somewhere like that. Typically I just ride along and help with the dogs but this time I was elected to do the shooting so I was very grateful to have that opportunity.

I went bear hunting again on Monday with Jason. We got one treed and let an 11 year old boy named austin shoot the bear.

The two dogs, Fred and Abby, belong to Jason's son, Braydon, and they treed this one solo and did a really nice job on it. Abby is out of rowdy and my old lexus female. she has turned into quite the bear dog.

Well......I was waiting on Buck to call to see if we were going to hit to the woods but something must have come up. I will probably load up The Frog Dawg and go for a drop or two. May even hit the National Forest and see how it goes over there. Will post some pics later.

Just got in from hunting, Pastor Mike and I took Frog solo to night. Frog did a nice job on getting Ricky treed.

Since all my buddies deserted me tonight and went hunting without me..........I loaded up frog and went over to the National Forest at Craigs Creek. Frog ran one coon that went about 600 yards and went into a rock bar about half way up the mountain. We kept hunting and she struck again and got the track really moving. She went a little over 1000 yards and treed with the coon on the outside. I rolled him out on the second shot.... She took this coon through some thick crap and a couple of rough hollows. I was pretty pumped when I got to her and totally forgot to take pictures. At least Delcamp got to hear her tree.....eh Delcamp?

Yeah, when you finally stopped climbing & panting like an old workhorse going up the side of that mountain!! I've always said that she is an outstanding treedog with a MILLION DOLLAR MOUTH!!

on a side note!!
I wish you could shoot as well as she tree's! You may want Dave to give you a refresher course HE! HE! JUST SPOOFING!!!!

Yep.....I was panting, sweating etc going up that mountain....but I am just glad I can still make it up that far...

As far as the shooting.........equipment failure man.....equipment failure!!!! I usually bring em out with one shot......but when he came out...he didn't even give a wiggle. I am always up for a refresher course.
