Took Red out with His Sire Truck last night and they got 3/4 of a mile down river. I drove around to get closer and when i stopped the Truck Red was Blowing the top out of a tree, He completely drowned out Truck and couldnt hear Truck until i was about 75 Yards from them. Had a big Coon sitting in a small Cherry Tree on the river bank . Petted him up and took him home on a good note.

Thanks Bryan, He has a long way to go but he has flashed glimpses of what i hope will be a good dog in the future haha

Yeah I prefer to work Young Dogs haha. Old dogs are good to go tree coon but when it becomes routine for them it just doesnt have the excitement as when ya got a young one starting to turn the crank haha.

Thanks Daryl and Andy, its a great feeling when you see the light flick on in a pup that you raised. Hopefully Red can keep the Timberjack name going strong for years to come.

Thanks Andy, it Started out with all dogs drawing some minus but with less than 10 minutes left Rene took 1st and 1st on a coon and won the cast with 100+. She is now sitting 3rd place in the CHKC State race and i believe she is 6th place in the National English Breed Race. If all goes as planned we will have her at South Fork on the 17th. As long as she isnt in heat as she is do to come in soon haha.

Red is consistantly running and treeing with other dogs. He still has not had a coon yet or seen one and when season comes in next week and he gets a few I will be singling him out. We have high hopes for him and hopefully he can fullfill them haha
