The scourge of the twenty-first century is half‑hearted Christianity. Half-hearted Christianity will not do it. Are you seeking for Christ with all your heart? The Bible says in James 1:8, "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." That word double‑minded literally means "two souls." Here's a man trying to face both ways at the same time. He's trying to live with one foot in the church and one in the world. He's got just enough of the world in him that he can't be happy in church. And he's got just enough Christ in him he can't be happy in the world. He is a spiritual schizophrenic. He is a two-soul man. We are to love the Lord with all our heart.

Is there anything in your life you love more than the Lord Jesus Christ? If so, then my friend, that thing—whatever or whoever it is—has become an idol in your life. “Now the just shall live by faith.” - Hebrews 10:38

This great statement, so abundantly true, actually was first stated in the book of Habakkuk. The writer of Hebrews is quoting the prophet Habakkuk.

Habakkuk was perplexed. He lived in a day of violence, degradation, apostasy and danger. He bombarded Heaven, asking God to answer—to explain things so he could make sense of it all. But God said, “Habakkuk, you couldn’t understand it anyway, if I told you what I’m up to. You think I’m not working? I’m working, and Habakkuk, here is your responsibility. You are to live in this uncertain age by faith. You want me to tell you how to live? Don’t live by explanations. Live by Faith.”

Now, that’s not hocus-pocus or smoke and mirrors. That has spiritual steel and concrete in it…“the just shall live by faith.”

This is the only way to live. In fact, this verse is quoted three times in the Word of God. I wonder if God is trying to tell us something. I know He is. The challenge for us today—and every day—is to live by faith. Hello All!! Its another winter day outside. All we have to do is wait till tomorrow and it will be a spring day. We use to have winter, spring summer and fall. but now days we have all that type of weather year round .Cold and snow one day and 60 to 70 the next. Lets go to the message for the day before it gets to hot... Walking Through the Valley of the Shadow

A minister spends a lot of time visiting hospitals and going to funerals. They spend time with those who are dying and those who are facing heartaches and many of different kinds of problems and heartaches. They see those who know the Lord Jesus Christ, and a pastor can see a difference in those who know Christ and those who don’t. Thats what my Pastor BO told me.

I spent some time in the hospital a couple years ago with a man who in just a few hours would step over on the other side. I listened for the past couple days to him talk to JESUS all the time. Asking him to take him home.I asked if I could say a prayer with him,He said sure.. I held his hand. We prayed. I asked, "Is everything right with you and the Lord?" He said, " Ron, everything is right. I'm ready. For me to live is Christ and for me to die is gain." I will never for get that for as long as I live. He asked me to hold his hand for a little while. I got out of the hospital the next day.I seen his obituary in the paper the next day..

He had the assurance of one who knew God would “never, no never” leave nor forsake him. (Hebrews 13:5)

What would it take for you to have that assurance? Do you have it now? Then thank God for it. If you don’t, have you given your heart fully to the Lord Jesus Christ? “F-A-I-T-H” means Forsaking All, I Trust Him.” Trust Him fully today and He will come to dwell within. Does Your Testimony Really Matter?

Hello all! Today in the riverbottom its raining, I sat out on the deck this mornin with a jacket on and listened to the rain hit the tin roof and drank my coffee.As I looked down into the riverbottom I could see everything that our GOD made.though the trees have no leaves and the fields are dark and the ground is dreary lookin.I know that very soon its gona spring back to life and everything is going to be green and growing once again.Its sorta like us ,Sometimes we dont read our BIBLES as we should ,Sometimes we dont pray as we should ,Sometimes we skip a Sunday from church.I dont know about you but when I do that I get to feelin a little dark and gray and dreary.Then,I start Prayin,Readin my BIBLE the way Im suppose to and Im like those trees getin there leaves and the new crops springing up in the fields everything is getin new and fresh and we come alive. Thank you JESUS for Loving me and refreshing me when I fail you .... Lets get on to the message for the day Does Your Testimony Really Matter?

It’s funny how people who’ve had life-changing experiences can talk about them as if they happened yesterday. Take a professional athlete, for example, who can describe the great championship game in detail. And old soldiers often get deeply emotional when remembering their comrade who was killed in battle 60 years ago.

When Christ comes into your life, it’s a life-changing experience. So if He really has come, then you’re going to want to tell others about it. I’m not saying you won’t ever struggle to articulate the Gospel. But the truth is that if you’re truly changed, your story of grace is going to be seared into your mind.

Now, there are some believers I know who don’t think their testimony is all that interesting. They say, “I’ve never done drugs or anything like that, so people aren’t really moved by my testimony.” Well, the same grace that saved you is the grace that saved the worst sinner. So your testimony matters!

Some of you are wondering whether or not you ought to give your heart to Jesus Christ. You may ask, “What if Ron Maggart is not right? What if the Gospel is not true?” Let's suppose that what I believe is wrong—that the Bible is a bundle of blunders. Let's suppose there is no God and that Christ never died for our sins. Well, you're going to die anyway. So you're no worse off. But suppose I'm right and you're wrong. By coming to Jesus, you've got everything to gain and nothing to lose. Id sure hate to live in hell for the rest of eternity,I wouldnt take that chance

Now, it takes more than that kind of rationality to come to the Lord, but you need to do a little spiritual calculation. The Holy Spirit will prove to you that what I say is true. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God…your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace….” Ephesians 6:13-15

A Roman soldier had to have sandals with hobnails to give him standing, very much like a golfer's spikes. And because the devil would love to trip us up, we’re told, as we’re putting on our armor, to put on our shoes—and not just any shoes of peace.

You see, your enemy, the devil, can defeat some people through error. They don't have the belt of truth. Others he can defeat through sin because they don't have the breastplate of righteousness.

But some he'll get through discouragement; they’ll lose their peace. He’ll plant thorns, briars, holes, and stumbling blocks. And if we don't have on our shoes, our spiritual feet will be bruised and bleeding. Rather than leaping, we’ll be limping because we don't have peace.

Your shoes are “the preparation of the gospel of peace,” peace with God. The peace of God dwelling in your heart enables you to fight Satan. Do you have this peace? A Crack In The Armor

Hello to all. I sat on the deck this mornin drinkin my coffee.I sure like doin that ,It helps start my day listening to all the different sounds from birds singin, to cows moooin, to mules brayin,to geese honkin and one of the sure signs of spring is I heard those ole treefrogs for the first time this year,but im sure its gona cool off enough again to give them a chill. Winter is not over yet .But getin pretty close.. lets get to the message for the day. A Crack in the Armor

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” - Proverbs 4:23

The Bible warns, “keep your heart with all diligence.” You must have the breastplate of righteousness covering your heart. We’re told not to give a place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27). He is watching—searching—waiting for any crack in your armor.

Wouldn't it be awful to be dressed head to foot with all of the armor except for one little crack where the devil slips the knife in? A little poem I heard says it this way:

“Who is it knocks so loud?”
“A lonely little sin.”
“Slip through,” I answered.
And soon all hell was in.

“A lonely little sin.” Is there any attitude, action, ambition of your life that is not absolutely pure? Defeated Foe

Hey ! 70 degrees a little rain ,Not bad for a March mornin. lets get right to the message for the day... Defeated Foe

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He Who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” - 1 John 4:4

Praise God, Satan is a defeated foe! Satan's back has already been broken at the cross. When Jesus Christ prepared to go to that cross in anticipation, He said, “Now is the prince of this world cast out” (John 12:31).

“Is cast out.” Satan has already been defeated, not will be defeated. Oh, we as Christians need to learn that! The devil hopes you never learn that “greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). The devil hopes you'll never learn that his power has been stripped from him and that Jesus said, “I give you authority over all of the power of the enemy” (Luke 10:19).

Satan is a defeated foe; and when you pray, you do not pray for the victory, you pray from the victory. As the song gos,, O' Victory in Jesus ,My savior For ever ,He sought me and bo't me with his redeeming blood;He loved me I knew him, and all my love is due him,He plunged me to victory,beneath his the cleansing flood. Thank you Jesus for what you did for all of us when you hung on that Cross. “In the beginning God….” - Genesis 1:1

The Bible begins with this statement. The fact of God is not argued here. Neither is the nature and being of God explained. He is just presented. “In the beginning God….” No philosophy presented, no argument made, no apology offered, and no explanation given; just, “In the beginning God….”

The Bible writers never tried to prove God. They presented God. They never tried to explain the existence of God. Nor should you. Don’t let this shock you, but there are no proofs for God. The finite can never prove the infinite. To try to prove God by looking through physical or material things would be like tearing a piano apart trying to find “The Hallelujah Chorus.” The first four words of the written Word of God say all we need to know: In the beginning—God!

You will never really comprehend anything else in the Bible unless you understand Genesis 1:1. This is foundational truth. It is functional truth. You must believe it. You see, the key to the rest of the Bible is hung right here by the front door. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” { "BELIEVE "} ,Heres its Definition,,To have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute proof ... Can a person find God by reasoning? No. We are incapable of proving God. Sometimes an atheist will say to a believer, “Prove there is a God.” That never threatens me. I just smile and say, “Prove there is no God.” Sometimes it’s leveled against Christians as though it’s an accusation: “You just accept by faith there’s a God.” That’s right. And let me tell you what the unbeliever does. He accepts by faith there is no God. He does not know there is no God. He has never proven there is no God. He accepts by faith there is no God.

Some of the finest minds this world has ever known have been given to the gospel of Christ. It’s not a matter of intellect. It’s not a matter of reason. It’s beyond reason and above reason.

All men are believers. I choose to believe in God. The atheist chooses not to believe in God. If a man doesn’t believe in God, it’s because he doesn’t want to believe in God. He has chosen not to believe in God. But make no mistake, we’re all believers.

There’s a familiar story about the little fellow who lost a little red sailboat he had made. It sailed away from him across the pond. Later, he saw it in the second-hand store, and the proprietor made him buy it back. He bought it back, and as he carried the little sailboat out of that second-hand store, he hugged it to his chest and said, “Little sailboat, you’re mine. You’re twice mine. You’re mine because I made you, and you’re mine because I bought you back.”

Not only did God create you, He redeemed you. God bought you with His blood. And God says, “Christian, you’re mine. You are twice mine. You’re mine because I created you, and you’re mine because I redeemed you.”
