Kenny doesn't seem to be in the best health. He said he's having pain in his shoulder and knee. He had knee surgery, but it didn't seem to help. I don't have the best hearing, but my friend and SIL said they had a hard time hearing him, too. His voice is really weak.

We've been seeing fox babies playing in our hay field. Chuck and his friend caught 6 here last fall and I was afraid they would wipe them out. Was glad to see they didn't until Ruby wants to sneak off to chase them and last wk, Chuck took a groundhog up to feed them and found the ears and just a hide left from a fawn they were munching on. Would rather watch fawns playing then foxes.

Hillbilly, how'd u do at the pulls? I used to watch them at a small fair close to here. Haven't been there for a few yrs.

Dandy treed his first coon today! A friend caught one in a trap and brought it over. We showed it to him and then I took him away so they could let it out and give it a head start. The coon didn't want to go away from the house, but we finally persuaded it to get off the porch light. After we didn't see it anymore we let Dandy lose and he tracked it back tk an oak tree and treed on it.

Nice enough here today to get my husband into hay mowing mode. We only make 5-6 acres, its enough to feed my 2 horses and have a little xtra to sell to help pay for lime, fertilize, etc.. He only mowed part of it because it will probably be just the 2 of us putting it in and they're calling for rain on Thursday.

Went on a nice little roadtrip with my wife today out in the country away from all the stop lights . I told my wife is where we can see what kind of gas mileage this new truck can get ,, 28.8MPG I'm really happy with this truck . The 8 speed gearbox must be the trick to it all .

That's great mileage! We live in the stix...only county in PA without a traffic light. We got the Prius (usually gets around 50 (mpg) because we have to drive over 20 miles to get to a town with any stores.
