The Beginning and The End

Hello !!! Good mornin. Its always a good day when we can wakeup and see theres another day ahead of us. To tell others about Jesus Christ Our days are numbered and only our Lord knows how many. Lets geter on to the message for the day. The Beginning and the End

“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” - Revelation 20:10

Did you know there's no devil in the first two chapters or the last two chapters of the Bible? But Genesis and Revelation have plenty to say about him elsewhere.

And the devil hates Genesis and Revelation! He has waged war against them. He would tell us that Genesis is myth and Revelation is mystery. In the book of Genesis, you see sin as it begins and brings death and a curse. In the book of the Revelation, sin is gone. There is no more death and no more curse.

In the book of Genesis, Satan appears for the first time. In the book of the Revelation, he appears for the last time. There is a special blessing in Genesis because it is the seedbed of all theology, and in Revelation, for it is the culmination of all theology. In the book of Genesis, the devil's doom is pronounced; in the book of Revelation, it is carried out. What we see in embryo in the book of Genesis, we see in completion and fulfillment in the book of the Revelation.

How important it is that we see these books as they are, in comparison and in contrast! For what God began years ago at the first creation, He ultimately completes in His new creation. From Shadow Into Morning

Hello Everyone,, Were having a revival at our church this week and its really goten me fired up for the LORD. Our special music guest is gospel music recording artist Joe Arview and speaker is Bro Tony {Mac}McMullen a very godly man that served many years in prison for MURDER.His testimony brought a lot of tears to peoples eyes ,mine also.God can do anything and change anyone.what a powerful message Bro Tony gave. It made me stop and think of how life can be and how Our Lord Jesus Christ can do anything.Lets geter on to the message for today. From Shadow into Morning

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” - 1 Corinthians 15:55

There was a great preacher once who lost his wife while he was still a young man. They had a little girl that the mother left behind. He was trying to explain death and the shadow of death to his little girl, but she didn’t quite understand.

One afternoon after the funeral, she was in the car with her father. They were downtown doing some shipping. She saw the shadow of a truck passing by. The setting sun made the shadow huge, much bigger than the truck. The little girl said, “Daddy, look at the big shadow of the truck!”

And he, being a good teacher, thought right then, “I can use this to help her understand.”

“Sweetheart, I want to ask you a question. If you had your choice, would you rather be hit by the truck or by the shadow of the truck?”

“Oh, she said, Daddy, that's easy. I'd much rather be hit by the shadow than the truck. The shadow can’t hurt you.”

“That’s right, sweetheart. And it was only the shadow that hit mama. The truck hit Jesus 2,000 years ago on the cross.”

Tremendous lesson. That’s why David calls it “the valley of the shadow of death.” The truck hit Jesus. Jesus has taken the sting out of sin, the dread out of the grave. Jesus has become our victor.

Many people fear death— a shadow looming over each of us, representing the unknown. Yet Jesus disarmed death and took away its power. The believer in Christ can have this assurance: beyond that shadow is the sunlight of the eternal morning. Speak with the Lord right now and share with Him something you fear. He already knows about it anyway. Picture yourself giving that fear over to Him. Place it in the nail-scarred Hand. It is a risen, victorious Hand! Good Mornin ! We had another awsome night at our revival last night at church. My church is not a real big church about 60 people are there most Sundays and all church services. but we advertized that Joe Arview and Tony Mac McMullen was gona be here and YYYYYEEEE HAAAAA the house has been packed and a number of people each night accepting Jesus Christ as there Savior How awsome is that ? Saving Souls and Joe and Tony are doin just that. I sure wish you all was here. Lets get on to the message for the day. Cursed

“And unto Adam He said…cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.” - Genesis 3:17

The crown of thorns Jesus wore—what does it speak of? It symbolizes the curse upon humanity, on you, on me, on us all, because of sin. When God created mankind and put him in the Garden of Eden, there were no thorns. A curse came upon Adam and Eve because they sinned and disobeyed God. The thorn, the thistle, are the result of the curse of sin upon humanity. Jesus wore a crown of thorns because He bore that curse…the hardship, sorrow, and death that come with sin.

Are you having heartaches? Are you having sorrow? Do you know sickness? The thorny pathway we walk is because of sin. The bed of briars we sleep on is because of sin.

Who is taking care of your sin today? Who is paying the price for it? Is it under the blood? Are you trusting Christ alone for that? Jesus Christ he did pay the price for our sins .Ya know its so easy to have Christ in your life ,,Just by asking and believeing in him. By his Grace and he gives it to you ,Free of charge doesnt cost a dime.All Jesus asks is Believe,Trust in him Follow him.People He will Change your Life. Were The Disciples Liars ?

Good Mornin ! I had a great Easter ! Jesus is alive,He rose from that tomb. Every thing that he endured was done for us . If we have accepted him as our Savior ,We have it made.He"s gona take care of us till he comes to take us home..Thats good to know.Lets get to the message for the day. Were the Disciples Liars?

“But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise.” - 1 Corinthians 15:15

It’s one thing to be mistaken; it’s another thing to be a false witness. Were the disciples liars when they said Christ was risen? Were they deceivers? If so, why would they lie? People usually lie in order to gain something. But what gain did they have if Jesus Christ was still in the grave?

They died as martyrs. They were tortured, persecuted, and burned at the stake. They reddened the mouths of lions, were stoned, crushed, and humiliated. Hypocrites and martyrs are not made of the same stuff. People tell lies to get out of trouble, not to get into trouble. A man may live for a lie, but few, if any will willingly die for a lie. No, they did not lie. Jesus Christ has indeed risen as they said!

If someone were to ask you, “What proof do you have that Jesus Christ really rose from the dead?”—what would you answer them? Are you prepared with a well-thought-out, logical answer? Passionate Prayer

Good Mornin! Its a pretty day outside ,A good mornin to get some things done. So,Im going to get to it .For now lets get to the message for the day. Passionate Prayer

“Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared.” - Hebrews 5:7

I read in the book of Hebrews how my Savior prayed with “strong cryings and tears.” How that rebukes me. When is the last time you shed a tear over some soul that was mortgaged to the devil? When is the last time that you, like Jacob, said, “Oh God, I will not let You go, except You bless me” (Genesis 32:26)? When is the last time you labored with God in prayer as the Bible says?

Prayer is hard work! For the energy it takes, I’d rather shovel a hundred bushel of corn than pray. I’d rather study than pray. It takes work to pray. And here’s a man—our Savior— Who was praying passionately. He cast himself upon the ground. We need that kind of passion in our prayers.

Its not by all the work that I do, Real work is hard no matter what it is , but its by the power of Almighty God upon my life because I’ve been alone with God in prayer.

Jesus knew what it was to get alone with God in prayer. Do you know what it is? To get down on yer knees close yer eyes and really pour out your requests ? Go - For- Broke Faith

Hello ! Here we are another day that the Good Lord let us wake up ! We were able to wake up for a reason.God has given us another day to tell someone about Jesus and the good things he can do for them. What ever it is you got to do this day .tell others about the good things Jesus has done for you.lets get to the message for this day Go-for-Broke Faith

So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. - (Matthew 14:29)

Peter is often used as an example of what not to do and what not to say. But Peter also provided us with an exemplary and amazing display of faith.

We find the story in Matthew 14, when the disciples were out on the Sea of Galilee and a storm came up. They panicked and thought they were about to drown, but then Jesus showed up, walking toward them on the water. The disciples thought He was a ghost, but Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid. Take courage. I am here!” (verse 27).

Then Peter said, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water” (verse 28). So Jesus said come, and Peter went. He walked on the water.

Talk about getting your feet wet—Peter was willing to get his whole body wet to walk on the water to Jesus. This was real, active, put-everything-on-the-line, muscular, go-for-broke faith. I love it. It seems like this was the most irrational thing a person could possibly do. But faith is the refusal to panic. Faith has no back door. There was no safety net. Peter was not wearing those little water wings just in case it didn’t work out. Either he was going to walk on the water, or he was going to sink. How was Peter able to get out of that boat and walk on water? He looked at Jesus.

But then verse 30 tells us that when Peter “saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink.” The moment Peter took his eyes off Jesus, he began to sink. It was a lapse of faith.

When you look at Jesus, amazing things can happen. When you focus on Jesus and seek His glory, God can do miraculous things. The Deceitfulness of Riches

“And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the Word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the Word, and it becometh unfruitful.” Mark 4:18-19

There are many misconceptions and illusions about money. Money can buy some things but not others. It can buy marriage, but it can’t buy love. It can buy four years in college, but it can’t buy an education. Money can hire a doctor, but it can’t make you well. Money can take you almost anywhere except to heaven. It can buy almost anything except happiness. Some people think money means security. But there’s no security in money. It fades away.

The Bible speaks of the deceitfulness of riches because earthly treasures can be wiped away so easily. Are you putting your trust and hope in things of eternal value? As Bright As The Promises of God

Adoniram Judson was a great missionary. He went to Burma and labored long. He prayed, fasted, and witnessed. But rather than seeing souls come to Jesus, Adoniram Judson was arrested. He was tortured and cast into a vile, filthy, vermin-infested prison.

Later when he was home on furlough, he was asked if the prospects were bright for the conversion of the world. His famous reply was, "As bright, Sirs, as the promises of God!"

I Know !!!

Hello to all. Its a bit cool outside , This mornin about 33 degrees ,So its showing us that winter time isnt all the way over. Its just given us a reminder that winter was here and summers soon to come ... Lets get to the messgae for the day.. I Know!

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9

If you were to ask me, “Ron Maggart, are you saved?” I'd say, “Yes, praise God! I know I am saved!”Thank You JESUS !

But if works have anything to do with my salvation, and you were to ask me, “Ron Maggart, are you saved?” I'd have to say, “Well, now, let me think. Yes, I believe I'm saved. I prayed today and I studied the Bible. I didn't curse today, and I didn't steal. But uh-oh, I did lose my temper today. Well, let me see. I hope I'm saved.”

If you depend upon works, a little or a lot, to get you to heaven; then you'll never be able to say, “Praise God, I know that I know that I'm saved.” But you’re not saved by works. You’re saved by grace through faith. As Simple as that,Its free for the asking,,All ya gota do is say ,,{ Jesus I believe in you, I know that you hung on the cross and died was taken down put in a tomb and 3 days later you came from that grave and are alive,you died for my sins past ,present and future,I Love you JESUS please for give me .} If you said this and truly believe ,and you trust in him as your savior you are now a child of GOD.
