Had a sorry hunt last night but the fellowship was awesome. Jt Smith came with Larry last night and it was good to see him. Our young male dogs couldn't leave his young walker female alone. We did manage to get 1 treed thanks to Jt's older female. Then our dogs found a dead cow to roll around in and boy did that stinks lol. I love hunting young dogs but they sure will test your patience

Took Crocket out tonight and let him get out of the pen. He left running and went just under 300 yards and fell treed on a layed up coon. This old dog simply amazes me. It's like he never missed a beat even being stuck in the pen for months on end. I sure love him and hope to be hunting his offspring for years to come.

Took Jude to the vet and had a progesterone test done. they said she had already ovulated and that we needed to AI quickly in order to have any kind of hope to have pups, so I had them AI. semen test was strong so I am crossing my fingers.

Hope this works, I had jude loaned out to a guy to hunt some pups with, he caught her cycle late so we are hoping for the best......Gerald
