I have been up all night birthing puppies. Copper and I started at 10 PM last night and we are still going. We are both worn out and need some sleep. It looks like my hunting has been curtailed for last night and tonight. Maybe I will get to get back at it Tuesday night.

Will it never end? We are up to 10 puppies now. Jason, you can't leave the bathroom and I can't leave the laundry/birthing room.

I left my wife in charge of the puppies last night and went hunting. Thirty min after I left she called to say that Copper had come out into the living room and pooped on the carpet which she had to get down on her hands and knees and clean up. Now my wife is saying that half of the pups are hers since "she" is raising them. Is that fair? But I can't argue about it until I get back from Redbone Days. I was wondering why she kept saying, "another $500" every time one was born.
Bond, you better have a room booked. I left Boone at home and took Willow and Wilma last night and didn't get home until 2:30 this morning. I was hot, tired and worn out but they were still raring to go. We made 4 trees. Willow had one. Wilma had one. They were both together on one. My buddy's Plott dog had one. And we caught Willow and the Plott trailing across a road and headed toward a house. It sure was hot and muggy. I hope that it is all worth it next weekend.

Sounds like fun times at Lambert house. You better keep momma happy!

Had the secret project out again last night. Trashy critter! She did get split though.

You taking Wilma to Michigan? She liked Michigan last year and looked good.

Yes, Wilma and her littermate Winnie are both going to be there. Rhonda likes to get by herself. I wonder where she gets that from? I picked Jim to add a little drive and independance without losing any tree. I think that I succeeded. Every time that my wife walks by the laundry room now, she mumbles something about a new car.
It looks like a new and improved version of the Va Cartel is coming together for the trip to National Days. Jason, it is a shame that you can't make the trip.

Check your phone, mine says delivered. Second drop/tree was 900 yds. I was weak and staggering when I got back to my Jeep. I had to drag Willow and Wilma behind me. We were all ready to go home. It was 2:30 am and 83 degrees. I am going to have to go to the Wal Mart today to get some more band aids. I think that she is wearing me down more than I am wearing her down. I will see if she is standing on her kennel gate whining to go when I go out there tonight.

Old woman? What about me? I am older and more fragile than she is. I think that she is trying to wear me out. I took Wilma to a PKC hunt last night and took Willow along to turn loose after. But it was still 83 degrees at 12 PM after the hunt. I was soaking wet with sweat and wore out so I wimped out and came home. Willow was ready but I wasn't.

Bond, did you get the videos last night? That was your last night of entertainment. Willow and her grandaughter will get 3 nights of rest and then we are headed to Jared's in Indiana for the big Cartel get together. That is where the real fun will begin. I hope that you are all rested up and have bought a new inhaler. You are going to need it. I know that your dog can hold up for 3 nights a row in the heat but I don't know about you. Maybe you should bring Linkous along for a back up handler.

Yep I got 3 night's of rest if the old woman rest that much she will get stiff and unable to hunt take a week to get loosened up 😉 Linkous is busy he has to put a rear end in his recliner

She will get loosened up Tuesday and Wed nights. Those are her warm up nights. I wish that you could be there for them. They will be a lot more "fun" than Bellevue.

I aint been on here in a while but My 16 month old Moose pup Longtrail Redcoat Lucky Walter got a first place win tonight and high scoring dog. He brought his A game tonight Looked real good got no minus got by himself on one couldnt be happier!!!

I think he could hold his own there he looks great in thick coon
We had 3 dogs at our feet last night on and off but not Walter he stayed out hunting he also passed on slick treeing with other dogs but treed with them when there was a coon I am very proud of what he has turned into

Do you really think that you will need Sam? What do you think that she would look like in those thick coon where it takes a score of 700 to1200+ to do any good. Last year Bear had 700+ on Sat night and did not get his picture taken. I was very disappointed.
We may have to have a called meeting. A new Virginia boy has requested an application to join the Cartel. He wants to hunt Fancy at Redbone Days. He has been a closet Redbone man for several years and now wants to come out. Y'all probably have heard of him, Mr James Atwell. Jared told him that we would have to vote on it.

Oh my goodness, now it sounds like the Cartel will be there in force. Those Midnight Outlaws are going to have their hands full. I have been told that they have been out all week practicing up so that they can "attempt" to take us hillbillys on. We will see this weekend how that works out for them.
