a buddy came by ,we did some pond hopping before it got hot...got a couple ponds with big bluegill in them...,we did pretty good,i got 34 nice gills all were 8 to 11 inches,hit 3 ponds..my buddy got 30,then it got so danged hot we called it

One thing I can say for certain. Wrigley Field want be seeing me ever. Done banned backer. Good thing its prolly a gun free zone. Could be some withdrawals and shootings over that.

Hope all you guys had a Happy Father's Day.
I tried calf penning once. We were camping at Ray Smith's and he had a guy there doing a clinic on it. I think his name was Rich Bradshaw. Yrs ago, I had an Appy mare that hated cows. She'd go through her fence to chase the cows. She'd put them in the barn and stand guard at hrs door so they couldn't come out. Once they ran threw the fence, through my in-laws garden and she still put them all in the barn!!! My FIL had a fit so I sold her. Sure wish we could have had a trail camera back then to watch her do that.
Where u near the Meadows casino? Its about 1/2 hr from my friends. Never been to it, but I went to Mountaineer twice. We rode the Harley to Salamanca today. Its 2 hrs up there. I feel better after I get off the horse after 2 hrs then the bike. Actually I can't stand to be on it that long, we take stretch breaks at least every hr. Didn't win any $ today, but I didn't lose much either.

Was 54 here this morning. I could get use to that!!

it was a hot hot humid day here 89 last i looked just had a hard thunder storm come through may cool things down a tad

Heck ,it's still 90 degrees here and a air quality warning .

Starting to sprinkle doesn't look like much but it smells wonderful.

we had a few sprinkles earlier theier calling for bad storms and wind later we will see i guess

wernt to bad out there today,nice with the breeze blowing..finishing up eat the bluegill tonight for supper.
