we gettin a few sprinkles that's about it at the moment

Cold, wet miserable the past couple days with more drizzle moving in overnight. The town had its 4th yesterday, best selling items were hot chocolate, cappuccino & strong coffee maybe something stronger to stay warm.

The corn is over 6 ft tail now, it is happy.

We got some of the early planted corn that's shootin' tassels,& some beans closin' the rows.Very nice rain all day,last I looked 1 &1/2" of rain.

It's bone dry here in Se Michigan. Some corn is curling. Beans not any better.Could be a bad one if it don't rain soon.

Looks like we're getting rain starting tomorrow, but not until late. Hope to go to the fireworks tomorrow night. Then there's a 30% chance every day, but Wednesday.

Well heard on the news where some dip stick got hurt w/ fireworks ..... ya just can't fix stupid.

I think tonight will be the last of the fireworks displays around here,been going on for the last 4 days ,lol, you miss one no problem just go down the road a few miles tomorrow night . Have happy and safe 4th everyone .

Getting the dog was about as much as I could handle today, don't feel good so we cancelled our plans & going to stay home.

the local weather calling the southern part of the state is in a flash flood watch suppose to get a bunch of rain tonite

I ended up w/ an inch & 7/10's .... oh happy day!!!

we got a toad strangler for about a hr knock the tv & computer out

Fireworks were canceled because of the rain so we watched them on tv at Pgh. It was a great wkend except for the rain canceling the fireworks, but we needed it. Rode horse and our motorcycle and went to 3 cookouts.

I don't know who put on a fireworks display here last night , in a little park about 2 blocks from here. Sat in my living room and watched them ,lol

Hot & very muggy today. Just about time to go outside & set up camp under the Maples. The corn is shooting up tassles, well over 6ft yesterday. Severe storms tonight, so nature is going to have a firework show & that is my favorite type.

This weekend threw me off too. I was slightly miserable & it wasn't really that bad. So all the dogs got scrubbed & hosed off. The really cold well water felt pretty good, ran some down Rosie'so swollen leg then it my turn kept that up for 30 minutes.
