Talked to Bill Kaenel from Wi the other day, he said that a coon had been hit in front of his house so he took it out back and laid a drag for his Two John II pups, this is the first time that these pups have been fooled with, the female worked the track and found the tree but did not open, the male opened on the track and when he found the tree went crazy and blew the top out of the tree then the female chimed in with him. Bill said that if that ain't natural ability nothin is. Bill will try to get some pictures on here in the near future.......Tim

Turk pup

Tim, We took Robin over to a friends house to run loose for a while. The first day running loose she treed a squirel and he said he had to go get her. That evening she went down on the creek and treed a den tree and again he had to go get her. Last night he called and said that he had no idea she would be this much work, its fine for her to run loose but if he has to keep going after her she might have to come back home. His black and tan pups are following her around and he said that he hoped some of that blue might rub off on them and make them coondogs.
Working on the young dogs and Froggie a little. Hope to get in some good hunting this week. .....Roy

Larry Heschki's GR CH NT CH female (sired by John II) just had pups sired by Dual Grand Zip. She has 8 pups that should make go yonder, get treed and stay put coon dogs the kind that most hunters like to follow.........Tim

Larry's female is a grand daughter of your ole Rooster II dog on her mothers side. This ped is loaded with treedogs that like to get by themselves and have the meat, should make outstanding competition dogs.......Tim

Cleo has had her pups today, 6 males and 4 females and mother and pups look good so far......Tim

Man I wish I had waited on these. Boys Iv'e hunted with Cleo several times and she is a coondog bar none. These pups are the find of the year. I allready have 4 young dogs that I'm trying to do justice to or I would own a couple of these pups.
They ought to be early starting naturals that will get on a tree and have the meat. Plus I bet they will get in the deep and wont care if your dog is with them or not. Wow, this is a great cross!

Doug Linn came up for a hunt tonight we turned loose his pup, my new NT CH Female and my Lady female twice, made two trees and the dogs looked good, had a good hunt, and back home early.......Tim

The phone has been busy this morning, calls from John II pup owners letting me know how their pups are doing, lots of good reports.

Booked another pup out of Cleo and John II.

Brandi's pups aren't 2wks old yet and Cleo's pups are 2 days old, not many left that have not been spoken for. If interested in either litter let me know because they won't last long........Tim

I had a good time last night like always. In the last four or five times we have gone out Tim has hunted females that he has bred or is going to breed. Two things have always been the same no matter which female he hunts. One- there all coonhounds and two- thay are HARD TREE DOGS.I will see you when I get home...Doug Linn

Hunt

Went to Stover, Mo last night for their UKC hunt, drew out with Daniel Hunsel hunting Ozzie, Troy Young hunting Rose and I had Lady. Had a great hunt, treed several coon and the dogs looked great Troy won the cast with Rose (15 mos old, B&D Crook and Johnny Yoders NT CH Kit , 3 wins). Rose won the hunt with 800+ points, this makes a 1st and a 3rd in the hunts and 2 BFOS, she is well on her way.

Daniel won BMOS with his young male sired by Psyco Sid. A good looking sucker, congrats to Daniel..........Tim

Bill Kaenel from WI. called and said that his two John II pups are doing great, when he turns them loose behind his house they will get treed somewhere and have good mouths. Bill says that he can't wait until they get big enough to take hunting.......Tim

What was intended to be a night of treeing practice turned into a bit of a brawl .... I was't expecting this to happen ....

Released a coon ..... Zeke and Cindi caught it on the ground ...

It was quite a battle ... Zeke was latched onto pretty hard ... twice ... I was nervous about that ... but I think he's ok ..... He still showed "Spunk" afterwards ...

Robin

Went over to check on robin this weekend. She is adjusting to running loose, although Keiths wife may not be. They were grilling burgers and robin helped her self to dinner. Needless to say Keiths wife is not real happy with Robin at the moment.
Robin is running track with their two Black and Tan pups and is treeing squirrles every morning. Keith said she is doing great and letting her run loose is really helping her.
