I didn't cut loose last night till 9 but I was in one of the only spots there was no fog and yeah I was defiantly dressed a little too warm last night..... I forgot my knife so had to carry that coon whole ways to the truck with two dogs on the lead..... Needless to say I was sweating!

Snow Cold it doesnt matter im starting preperation soon to make sure mine are as ready as they can be haha. Other than freezing to death hunting in the snow is one of my favorite times and the cold just tests the dogs even that much more.

Rene started coming in heat last week but she will be good to go for the English Breed Hunt. Wont be able to hunt her much between now and then though so that kinda sucks at least she will be well rested haha.

My buddy goes to new York on the weekends he is a marine I wouldn't be against him taking shine and stopping by and letting you try him out for a night see what you think I know I've really enjoy him let me know if you would like too and when I'll see if he wants to head that way one weekend and hunt with ya a night

Rene finished 5th in the 2015 CHKC English Race and finished 3rd in The CHKC PA State Race. She will be Finished in UKC this year as well.

I took Truck out last night getting him ready for the CHKC English Top 16 hunt next week and tradgedy struck. He treed and while walking into him I heard a hard thump and him whine a couple times then silence. I got in there and he had fell out of the tree, I dont know how high he was but he did not survive. My son Jacob took it pretty hard at first but he would not take no for an answer and went back to help bury him. Jacob now has his collar hanging on a trophy he won with Truck in his room.

Man I am sorry to hear that, tell Jacob to keep his head up we are so sorry ! Happened two yrs ago to my buddies female, we heard a thump, went in she was still breathing I tried CPR on her nose when she stopped breathing no good. We came back and buried her right there in the woods. Sorry Ed.

Thanks Freddy and Doug. Me and Jacob also buryed Truck right under the tree where we found him. Seemed fitting as it is a Beautiful river bottom where we always tree a pile of coon.
