No, I haven't. I was going to message the guy I graduated with to talk about it, but I saw that his son was arrested for stealing a car. Thought I'd wait until things cooled down for him.

Sorry to read about ur friend, HB. The first and only time I drove a team of horses was at Wolf's Corners Fair. They had a class for women only and a guy (Bud Kitelinger) asked me if I wanted to drive his team!! Those Belgians almost pulled off the seat, I sure wasn't expecting that. Had a great time and I placed 3rd. Bud passed away a few yrs ago, he's missed by everyone at Fair time.

I ride my horses in a bitless bridle. Belle always fought the bit (O ring snaffle); she does great without one.

Went to my horse club mtg tonight. It was 60 miles away, we only saw 2 coon on the way home. One was 2 miles from here along Rt 36 and the other was a mile away in a yard. Hopefully, we'll find at least one of them in our friend's corn field this fall.

Came in for a break.....and because my husband's friend showed up at the garden while I was hoeing in my night gown!! Never fails when I'm not properly clothed that somepone comes! A couple of yrs ago, 2 guys came back to ask permission to hunt. I was working in my flowers in my bra. So I took off running for my shirt and go it on just as they stopped the car. I turned to the passenger ans said it never fails when I start taking my clothes off people stop to visit. He laughed and said they had a bet I was going for a gun.

Gotta gallop ...taking the dogs for a run.. Will get dressed first.

Happy Birthday, Jen!
