Our 1st hunt and bench show of 2014

Our 1st BS and NH is fast approaching it will be at Glendale CHA on March 1st BS will be at 6pm and NH will be at 7pm. Everyone come on out and enjoy some good fellowship and coon hunting and everyone is welcome. Would love to see more kids show up. To keep the sport alive and growing. Thanks Glendale CHA

Well, we had a streak of a bad break at the Tull hunt with ole HawkGone. He got deep and possibly had the meat, but was in a time out and Michael didnt have time to find the coon and it wouldnt have counted anyway.
Ole Hawk is not himself lately and not wanting to really get out and get on fire, takes him awhile to get warmed up.
That's the breaks.

Found out Wednesday why Ole HawkGone hasnt been his self lately. Had lab tests done at the vet and his Thyroid level is below 1.5. Started his med.s and maybe this will help.
I wondered about his mood swings and acting like he had only one speed (turtle speed).
Ya'll dont forget to take those kids and the youth out hunting and into the outdoors and teach them to respect and understand our environment and God's creation. We only have one planet and we need to take care of it. And when we are gone our kids need to know how to take care of it too.

I had an enjoyable hunt the other nite and a goodun last nite.
The hunt the other nite was with my good buddy Strokin & Flint.
Flint owns 2 females out of my LudaBell X Hawkgone and my how they are really comin on. Ole Dozer was comical to watch, as he was so amped up, it was funny! Lilly looked fantastic! (Jeff's female)

I'm not going either, Larry. I wish I could but my daughter is graduating and just got to much to do. Lol. I got a new woods to hunt in. It's just down the road. We will have to try it out sometime.

I want to Thank a good friend for handling Dozer in the STate Hunt this past weekend. He did a fine job in the Nite Champs class for an ole pleasure hunter and his first time to handle in Comp.
In my book Both were winners no matter what the circumstance! A REAL Coondawg and a REAL COONHUNTER!

Well boys and girls I'm not gonna sugar coat it. I've been on a losing streak here lately. Ole HawkGone got beat with another stroke of bad luck. He got treed in some short pine and the needles were just too thick to score the coon. That's the way it goes.
HawkGone is directly out of BTTB Blackhawk and he is all coondog. I'm not trying to run him down, just being honest. Alot of peeps only put their wins on here and dont tell ya about the bad. He's one cast win away from Nite Ch.
I am excited to say that we may be possibly having another litter of pups in 3 more weeks. The mama is out of HawkGone X GR. Ch. LudaBell and the Sire is Nite Ch. Gr. Ch. Hurricane Dozer HTX DNA-P. Gonna be a real good cross. I have high hopes.
The Mama '' Girl '' is a pleasure dog and will tree squirrel and coon both. She has a nice bawl mouth, bawl on track, rolls over to a short bawlchop on tree.
I will update when and if the pups get here!

Finished T-Bone to Show Champion and Tora Bella got her first win at Woodlawn/Rison club this weekend, Best of Show.
The cross we made did not take ''Girl'' was in a false pregnancy. We will try again, next time she comes in. Sorry about that fellars and gals; as I have a waitin list building up for pups.

He is directly out of BTTB BLACKHAWK & SHABLES BB, BB IS OUT OF BEAR BRANCH BONNIE ( A LITTERMATE TO IRON MTN. DRUM)
I WANT TO THANK MICHAEL BARNES FOR BEIN DEDICATED ENOUGH TO STICK WITH HANDLING HIM THROUGH SOME ROUGH HUNTS.
