Quick update....

*Coon Machine Sir Walter picked up a 1st place win toward NITECH, he now has a 1st & 2nd. Walter is by way of Rip x Rose and is owned and handled by Zeb Holkesvik of IA.

*CH Lite Up The Nite Copper picked up a 3rd place win toward NITECH. Copper is by way of Clyde x Rose and is owned and handled by Scott Schmitt of IA.

*GRCH Red Fever Full Of Mischief picked up a 1st place win toward NITECH. Missy is by way of Ox x Trouble and is owned by Scott Steedes and handled by Bryer.

Per the April Bloodlines.....

*NITECH GRCH Two Worlds Collide is the #1 Current Reproducer

*GRNITECH GRFCH GRWCH GRCH Red Fever Hot Iron Ox is the #9 Current Reproducer

We have a nice litter on the ground right now out of Rip. There is also nice crosses coming up on outside females. Tater was bred to a NITECH female, and Ox to a GRNITECH female and a Quad CH female.

Chad, Ox was bred to Steve Nodean's GRNITECH S & J's Ironwood Kate. She is currently #8 on the reproducers list. She is also 9 or 10 years old, so hopefully she takes.

Ah, thanks Kelly. Aub said we don't breed titles though,we breed traits to traits, coondogs to coondogs, and reproducers to reproducers. Don't get us wrong, we like GRNITEs just fine, but PR and NITECH dogs are good too, so long as they've got the goods. You should come on over sometime and pick up Mark and Dean on your way, you can hunt all night and talk pedigrees and play the banjo all day......what a life.

This is a cross I have in mind at this time let me know what you think
Moonlight Kate has a lot of chief blood in her three times she crossed very well with little pepper who was line bred chief on the bottom the best crosses on btk in the day was heavy chief females with that being said I really like the litters dam to have a lot of the same dogs show up in the bottom of the sir bottom

Mark that is putting it on paper . There are so many things to consider when planning a cross. I believe you have to look at everything. When I look at the ped you are planning. I can't see any holes in it anywhere. In my opinion you have a VERY good idea in this cross.

Thanks Kelly i think about every base is covered in this cross from every angle some thing I didn't even notice was brought to my attention by pm all four grand parents where nat red days over all or opposite sex

Those pedigrees look like they line up real good to us, Mark. From your and Aubrey�s discussion the other night on the phone, I think the traits should match up real well too, and they�ve been carried down, generation after generation, something we like to see when making a cross. I think you�ll be happy with what Rip brings to the table. Funny someone noticed that about the grandparents, I didn�t either until after you mentioned it.

Thanks Tom i hunt pretty hard. After i shot this one it was about 3/4 of a mile back to the truck. Turkeys get pretty heavy time you get back.
