Smile Tonight

Tonight is the big night. I'll be over there to visit and go watch ( backup handle they call it). Looking forward to visiting and seeing some good dog work. I expect dogs with big duck feet to sure have an advantage, it's rained a bunch the past couple days/nights.

Oh if you like Richard you’d like anybody! 🤣

Good luck to everyone there!

So much for the big secret handlers! Once again the man who started and put the time in on his own dog came out on top...just how we like it right Richard home bred not borrowed lol

Oh my goodness, I thought that the Pro Handler won?

Richards been hunting jazz since before anyone ever heard of her, i drew him at national days and he knew that dog forward and backwards and I think sometimes being able to REALLY know your dog and be able to call It on things that might not be so obvious to the rest of the cast gets grouped in as lucky or slick...but it seemed like the guys who hunted their own dogs had good hunts and the guys who picked up a dog a week ago to hunt em didn’t look like they were worth paying and I think that’s a trend becoming more obvious the more big hunts and accomplishments the day in and day our redbones win rather then the flavors of the month just on a little winning streak 😉

Richard Adams and Jazz did a great job. He is a nice guy. But the winner was bred, raised, trained and gotten ready by his owner, Shannon Walters. Shannon hired Pro Handler Jason Guilliams to handle Roc at this hunt.

And Kim Jones, the owner of Crow who was the other winner this weekend, hired Jeff Murphy to hunt Crow. I guess that I should have let my little Pro Handler hunt Boone.

You really are a redbone person Richard...putting the “breed winner” in the same category as the REAL winners of a big hunt hahaha asa won with crow... crow is out of asa’s breeding and asa puts 6 nights of hunting a week on that dog and he beat out some actual handlers not this what us redbone people call handlers lmao so when I said the guy who worked his own beat out all these handlers hunting someone else’s dog I guess I was talking about the whole hunt since once any of the redbones had to hunt against winners from other breeds they all fell short 🤷🏼‍♂️

I was one of the judges last night on the final cast. There wasn’t any funny business just straight up nice dogs. All the dogs in the final cast did an awesome job. Crow and Jack are some really nice English dogs. The Leopard was one of nicest around of any breed. We all know know what kind of team Wild Bill and Rick Stretch are. They just fell short by a couple of bad calls by Rick. It was a great cast and I had a good time being there.

Isn't this the Redbone Breed Forum? If I was posting about the English dogs, I would put it on their forum. But you are right, I am a Redbone person.

Oh my goodness, you need to get a job with the main media reporting fake news like that. Roc drew out with Crow in the early round Sat night. Crow treed a coon and Roc treed a coon. Crow had more strike points so he advanced.

Wouldn’t that mean they fell short
