Bryan,i`ve had her out the last fefw times I went she really looked good 1 of the 2 and she came back and met me the last time I had her out.she can split and hold her tree and a pretty good tree dog.i`m hoping to get her in some hunts this fall .i`m not much for hunting during the summer.she is a good one though.she needs gutted for a month and she would be a hard one to beat.take care.

I spent yesterday morning with Wayne he is like a kid in a candy store when it comes to going thur a flee market.we seen a amish guy putting up hey with a team of horses across the road I`ll tell you those horses new what to do nobody stirring them and they never missed a row.then right before the rain came we both left Wayne on his way back to North Carolina. it sure did rain we had good timing getting out of their.
I`m pretty sure Ruby is going to have some pups i was rubbing her belly again today and she is starting to fill out.
I missed a few calls yesterday i`ll try to get with you guys a little later.

yes my annie was out of cruise an my cindy dog back in 2007 she was on the top 10 producer list for a while. I have a litter of pups out of a litter mate to upson jimmy double up on annie. I am hopeing for a few good ones. then well be looking for the next cross. may last few crosses have had a high turn out. what do you think about stinger cross on these.

I feel Stinger would cross up good with about any.If your looking for more hunt he`ll put it in them.I`m hearing the bear hunters that are hunting his offspring seem to be liking them.they can move a track and in a hurry and are really nice tree dogs.Stinger throws a balanced hound.If you ever want to give him a try give me a call.you may be better off looking for a littermate to Ruby to cross back on.hope to meet ya someday.

I seen her.no doubt that she would have the tree down its a wonder she didn`t come out of the womb treeing.Stinger sure can put on a tree job.keep me informed how they turn out.should be a pretty nice cross.a little tight should be wired 440.sorry to hear about Star.good to see you still have a good healthy litter out of her.
My Ruby is getting a belly on of her.It wont be long we`ll know if Wendy and Honey caught.

Good to get some cool weather.Sure was nice running the last few nights.Robert QWelch called and said he thought his Wendy female caught.were now waiting to see if Honey caught.
It looks like the cross with Legend and Lou is really turning out good.The reports i`m getting back they are outstanding on track and are real nice on the tree.starting to split and hold.time will only tell if they make it or not.I will be at Autumn Oaks I hope to see ya.

goodmorning matt hope all is well at your house. it's been real busy here this summer. training season is almost over, it's been a good one seen lots of bear and some real good dog work. skipper is starting to show, should have some more stinger grand pups in a month or so. she is bred to mike's smokey. there will be some all blue ones in this litter. smokey's oldest pups are a year old and off to a good start. kill season starts sept. 15 for hounds. good hunting dennis

Good to see she caught. What is Smokey out of ? Iit sounds like your hounds did good for you.good to see their are plenty of bear running around. I talked to Don a couple times since going back in and getting his knee worked on.I hope all goes good for him this time.Ruby is due the 15 th and it will be here before I know it.she has a belly full.I sure hope she has enough milk to raise a big litter.
We looked at several coon last night had a blast Rick Whitley and his son Tyler,Philip Whitley,Ted Larger ,Tom and I went for a hunt.they made the trip from souther Ky. and I bet right now both Rick and Philip are thinking about how nice it would be to be able to walk on this flat land all the time.these guys are a blast to hunt with.Rick he did manage to talk me out of my big male out of Tree Daddy and Fly I wish him the best with him.he is a layed back hound and seems to have alot of brains .Rick is going to hunt him with his craig Edwards male.I`m sure he`ll be back up and run with me.

Shane,i`ve had a couple in the house and they were easy to house break.keep her in a pet carrier at night feed her right when you get up and take her outside right after eating.right after you feed her each time keep taking her out.you could even put a bell on the bottom of the door and ring it right before you take her out and she might get the hang of it in no time.

hi matt sounds like you had a real good hunt. we had a good bear chase saturday, got to see the bear several times all the dogs did good. had to pull the dog near the highway before the bear treed. at least they all got home safe. smokey is out of my toby, his mother is out of coco. toby's sire is out of a littermate to blaze and mouse. his mother is a littermate to lou and little blue. he is a bigger all blue dog, can really move a bear. dennis

Hounds are doing good and Ruby is looking good and getting big.I`m working on a whelping and puppy pen I hope to have it done this weekend and get Ruby in it soon.I`m looking forward to going to A.O.`s. I did some trading and now have another Lou female and she looks just like her I`ll post a picture soon.

hi matt coco did produce some real nice pups. along with her brother rocky. i believe the cross they came from, blue boy II x stormy was the best reproducing cross from bud. my boomer pup is out of rocky. he's 14 months old now and doing an outstanding job. skipper is due sept. 21 she's getting bigger every day, hope she raises a good sized litter i have several spoken for and hope to keep 1 or 2 myself. good hunting dennis

Good to see Skipper caught.I hope you get enough pups from her I heard she is a nice bear hound.I know of three Stinger females bred at this time.I know Ruby has a belly full.this is the only litter that I will raise this year and it sure should be a good one.
The weather has cooled off and were really enjoying it.

hi matt it cooled off here too, finally. it's been hot and wet for a long time. the bugs have been thick. you can't seem to put bug dope on fast enough to keep up. today was much better. josh was over we cooked chicken on the grill this evening it was in the 60's real enjoyable outside. the bear are moving good. wed. kill season starts. should be a good one. skipper is one of the best females i've owned. she can really move a bear. good cold trailer, fights a mean bear and a nice tree dog. all you could ask for and still under 2. i'm expecting some nice pups from her. smokey is an all blue hound that throws mostly all blue offspring so i'm hoping for some all blue's in this litter too. good hunting dennis

Dennis,I have another female out of Legend and Lou and she seems to have a cold nose on her she strikes up quick and can fly on track she is a nice tree dog to.Lou is a good reproducer too.one thing about that cross that Little Blue and Lou came out of they sure are reproducing some fine hounds.you sure have things clicking up north keep up the good crosses Dennis.I really like mixing your line in.Did you get drawed this year?it sure was nice running the hounds tonight just a small brezz.felt good.take care.

I went to A.O.`s fri and sat I spectated friday night.seen a good hunt.really a nice cast.hunting 4 grands they all seem to go in different directions and its hard to run up a score when that happens.I`m pulling for Skipper to have a good litter.I hope you get to help fill the tags for the guys at your work.have you seen many signs of wolfs this season?

We had a good hunt lastnight.Ted brought Legend`s brother King we both brought a young hound each.we had some split treeing going on and a couple of jam up coon and ol King can do it just like his brother.Ted is a pleasure to hunt with and King really fits the bill for where we hunt.Ted`s neighbor Jon has a female out of Lou and Stinger and she is turning his head and were planning on getting her in on some runs.sure is nice the weather cooling off this last weekend sure made it nice running the hounds.

hi matt i've been hearing some good reports on the legend x lou pup. that female should do you alot of good. it's hard to beat the old smokey river blood. my fly female started into heat today, i'm planning on breeding her to little blue in hopes of keeping a couple all blue males before something happens to either one of them. josh took the kids fishing yesterday. he caught a 35 inch muskie by accident fishing bluegills. around here you never know what it will be when you get a bite. good hunting dennis

Hello Matt, I finally broke down and picked up a new camera so I could get some night time photos! This is Yankee's Blue Angel from your Stinger and Lou cross, she has been a real pleasure to start and hunt and a natural since 6 months old. She does it all from the rig to the tree, and makes short work of it too! I would have to say that sure was a good cross you made, I know I'm sure enjoying mine! Mike

Good to hear she`s doing good for you.I`ve been getting good reports on both of Lou`s litters.She should be a pretty good balanced one.Lou .I seen where you still have a female left out of Diamond and Slew. That should be one good cross.Good Luck and hopefully you get a couple bear treed at Dennis`s.Rubyn has a nice litter of pups I don`t know how many of each yet.she seems to be doing good with them.take care.

Well here`a the count 6 females and 2 males.pups are looking healthy and Ruby is looking like she is taking great care of them she is a good mother.Not many females out here out of Tree Daddy and this is what I was hoping for.Waiting on two more females bred Wendy and Honey to have their pups.Tree Daddy turned 8 so its good to see him have a few more pups on the ground.he has around 44 now counting this litter.

hi matt good luck with the pus. sounds like you have a nice litter. the last several litters i've had most folks wanted females. skipper is due with her stinger grand babies in 10 days or so. she is real big hope she has bunch. a friend from work shot a nice bear in my back yard yesterday. to bad we can't run hounds here. wed. kill season starts for hounds. sounds like mike will be here. should be a good time. good hunting dennis
