Thanks for the opportunity to own the pair of pups out of turk, the most nautral tree dogs I have seen in 25yr they cant grow fast enough to suit me. thanks again Tim

It's been one of those weeks. I guess I just got lazy because I haven't been out all week. I'm still planning on comming to the zone hunt next weekend.
Sounds like everybody is liking their Turk pups. Robin is doing great and with the kitten coon comming out now she should have a great summer. Catch you later........Roy

We are still hunting our females, last night we had Ruby, Lou and Lady split tree from each other, they each had a coon and weren't 20 ft apart. Its nice to have this caliber of females in a breeding program, I am not ashamed to hunt any of my females with anyones dogs.........Tim

Bill Kaenel, WI. called last night to let me know how his two pups were coming along. He said that he turned them loose behind his house and they were treed in about 10 min, the male standing on the tree and the female standing on her back legs winding. Bill says that these pups are not just barking, they are bug eyed , intense tree dogs that have to dragged off the tree. Not bad for 4 1/2 mos old. These were the two little pups that I delivered to the Reunion Hunt in Iowa out of my Hillbilly Millie female and John II.......Tim

I've raised them before ... its a lot of work .... bottle feeding three times a day ... he (Its a male) is already tame as can be .... and curious as all get out! ... I will let him go in my woods when he is old enough ... Steve

i have an old friend that had a tame coon he used to train pups with. he would lead the coon threw the woods, put him safely up a tree, wait awhile, then cut the pups loose. he trained a many of pups with that ole coon. he was the only one that could handle that coon. the coon would bite anyone else.

Yes, those coon can be a little ... "Unpredictable" ... lol ... I thought about using him for training ... concerned that he might turn mean once harrassed by the dogs ... but it might be worth a try ....... :-) ... Steve

i wish i had one to use like that. it has to better training than the scent we buy. i have seen lots of dogs that could tree coons that wouldn't even run a drag in a fiel trial. makes you wonder.

Timmy went over to Keiths and checked on Robin and said she is doing good. Keith said she is treeing squirrels every morning and going down on the creek at dark. He said she has got one of his black pups going with her and they both are opening on something down in there. So far so good. Timmy and I will more than likely go and get her before long and put her in the woods with the old dog.

The female is PR Tree Hackin Blue Abby owned by Don Tribish (sp)
from New Franklin, Mo. She is out of a Blue Frost female. From what I hear Abby is a real nice tree dog that started real early...........Tim
