Nice & cool today, rained all day yesterday ended up with just over an inch. Really could use more for the well, hauling water isn't a big deal except it tastes so bad the chlorine smell about knocks me off my feet.

Need to go to Winterset for vet supplies, was planning on taking the dogs to a bench show but Grace is tore up & has weird sores.

Rex I was going to take all three, bench show the pups & let Rose enjoy the atmosphere. I have a blanket chest in front of the South windows, it's where they stand for petting, if I need to doctor something & we practice bench footwork. They sleep on it if a cat hasn't claimed that spot, I found a basket for the mean cat. It's 22"x22", the cats rule the roost.

Just had a huge branch fall out of the Elm tree, it's slowly dying, most of it landed in the corn field. We're waiting for the other half to come home & decide how to remove it. I'm betting a tractor through the yard & next week when it is cooler & drier.

Red Lobster is always great & better with family. Glad you had a good time with your daughter!

Yummy...love Red Lobster, but Chuck and Corey aren't big fans. Usually go there with friends when we go to Columbus OH to the Equine Affaire.
Last time we went to Corey's we ate at a bbq place. Core and I ordered 1/2 a chicken. The only other time I get 1/2 a chicken is at a horse ride I go to every yr. There the half is a side...breast, wing, thigh, drumstick. At the other place it was a bottom half of the chicken...I'm not a fan of 🍗s so I wasn't too happy.

Hay, ur cat is beautiful. We use to sell Siamese kittens. We had a male we named Possum. He was such a nice cat.

The best time to come is during his birthday weekend or the Covered Bridge Festival which is coming up in October.

We got a rain yesterday while at the clay barn shoot, but it never lasted but around 1/2 an hour, then it got a little sticky.I can't believe how the wildlife there don't pay no mind too all that boom, boom, boom.Ole Bill that runs the place has quite a trophy display in the club house.

Posted by Rex Ridge on 09-09-2016 10:15 PM:

Rained here yesterday and a little today. My FIL lives about 15 miles away, he said they got 9/10" yesterday. It's a little cooler today, but still too humid for me.

Some of the places we ride and camp with our horses, also rent horses. The deer are so use to seeing horses, they just stand and look at u when we ride by. Elk are the same way in Benezette.
