Those big ears already got her in trouble, she had a barbwire go through one. My kids thought she might bleed to death, didn't understand how a pup could have so much blood. It didn't bother her, she'll be ready for a coon fight in no time.

Stacey, that pup is looking good. Love the big "dumbo" ears on her too! Ours are starting to tree cats as well.

Aub had a good hunt in the pouring rain last night. Made 2 drops, seen 2 coon. Here's a few pics:

Aubrey and Ann We couldn't be happier with her, She is a smart pup my daughter does very well with her. If she catches on to coon as fast as she does everything else Look Out. We will have a winner on our hands. I only wish I would have got two of them!

Mindoro was actually my last apprentice. I see that UKC just added me to the bench show list on their website so I suspect I will have my card/license any day now.

Krista and I went for a pleasant evening of pup training. Hounds got struck immediately ran a HOT track right to the tree. Just a bit more work with Skeeter! A Great time was had by the 2 of us as well as the hounds.

Aubrey & Ox were back at it last night in the snowstorm. First drop, den tree. Second drop, he worked the track down the creek and slammed the coon up a little tree. Third drop, rock den. Fourth drop, he treed a coon up in a little, tiny tree.

Great pictures Carl, I really like the way those pups are getting after it at their age...it looks like you guys will have some great fun with them as they grow.

Aubrey...great looking hound and good dog work by the looks of it on a tough night to be out and about.

Your pups are looking great, Carl. I love that green male's tree style. We worked our 2 yesterday for a bit too. The Clyde X Chance pups sure have a lot of natural treeing ability and beautiful mouths.

Thanks Tom, for the kind words. Aubrey is really having a lot of fun with Ox right now. He sucks in quick, gets treed fast, one bark locate, stays treed all night......Aubrey can't wait to get him in some hunts and see if they can't click off a few more NITECH wins.

Tater's looking good, Scott!

Aubrey had a fun time last night at the Northeast Iowa Redbone Get-together There were 2 casts of Red dogs, in cast 1: Colton Goza & Skinner, Scott Schmitt & Copper, Terry Goza & Gaga, and Nate Schultz & Georgia (all 4 of these are 15 month Clyde X Rose pups). The second cast was made up of Aubrey & Ox, Scott Johannamire & Star, Matt Schultz & Chief, and Landon Goza & Rose.

So then......

They took the two dogs with the highest scores from each cast, and had a final hunt off of those 4 dogs. In the final 4 was:

Left to Right: Nate & Georgia, Matt & Chief, Aubrey & Ox, and Colton & Skinner

Ox won the final cast, and Skinner took second. Aubrey had a fun night and would like to thank Matt & Nate for hosting it, and Terry for setting it up. It was fun to catch up and see some Red dogs work!

Just wanted to thank Aubrey and Terry for all their advice and wisdom on helping us become more firmiliar with all the rules of competition hunting. We had a fun hunt and your guys are welcome here anytime...if the hills aren't too steep for you!

Ann, Thanks for the pie and snacks you made for the hunt winner. I wasn't the winner, but I think I came out the best of all because I got to keep all the leftovers. It was delicious!

Here is a video Terry Goza sent over yesterday. Two 5 month old pups: Goza's Sing Along Rock N Roll (Rip X Rose) and Goza's Sing Along Dance Fever (Ox X Foxxy) seeing their first live coon. They're looking good Terry!
