Hi Matt, Good to here Ruby had a nice litter with a good number of females. They will be some nice pups out of Tree Daddy, I'm going to have to get some of him up here at some point. With the hounds you and tom and dennis are hunting, not to mention the ones I'm feeding, it's tough to decide which way to go with certain females down the road, they all seem to cross up real well! good luck with the pups, Mike

I bet you guys are having a good time.Mike I know one thing that cross that Little Blue and Lou was a good one.I know where your coming from with all the crosses but we can only hunt so many.i did manage to get a real nice female back out of ky.she can drive a track she is out of Legend and Lou I really like her.I`m thinking about making this cross again.its a no brainer.my pups are looking good I lost a male and now only have 1 male and 6 females.I`ll post a picture when they get their eyes open.work reallypicked up here and we are working 7 days a week again.give me a call when you get a chance.Happy Hunting.

I went with Ted and King I took Country we looked at three coon in three drops.King is looking good he is a littermate to Legend.
Ruby`s pups are looking good and growing sure looks like she`ll raise the rest of them.its been real dry here and were just now getting a slow drizzle outside I hope it last for a couple days we need it.I`ll atart running the pups as soon as we get a little better tracking conditions.

my pups off of Tree Daddy and Ruby are growing real nice and starting to use their mouth today.I think they were hot it warmed up close to 90 today.they are just now starting to open their eyes.

hi matt sounds like you got a box of good prospects there. should be some good ones. it's raining again today like another 2-4 inches. it's to the point hunting is getting slow hard to get around in the woods. logging roads are all mud, the creeks are in flood stage. i'm going to try hunting saturday see what happens. skipper had 9 stinger grandpups tuesday. so far they are doing good. thier sire smokey is also out of a littermate to blue and lou. i'm planning on keeping at least one. blue bred fly last week i'm hoping to get an all blue male from that cross. good hunting dennis

you can send me some of the rain you`ve been getting.i know its gotta be tough hunting in the swollen creeks.were still dry here even after a few rain showers.
I didn`t know smokey was the same cross.this is a reproducing line. no doubt about it. this litter has the best looking heads out of any that i have raised.i`ll be posting some pictures in a few days.
jeremy`s litter is here too,I`m gonna go check on them tonight.

I went and seen jeremy`s pups she has a real nice litter and is taking good care of them.Its good to see Tree Daddy get more pups on the ground.so if any body is wanting something out of Tree Daddy this would be the time he is 8 years old now.

I went tonight with Ted Larger and Dan Butcher.Dan was packing his young Legend X Super Fly male.Ike has a real mouth on him pretty nice green started pup.Ted he took King, King slipped off and treed a double.I took my Legend X Lou female and she can poor it on a track and she made one tree,had a good corn field race with Ike both didn`t make a tree but are good prospects.Country well he does what Country does Tree Coon.Thanks guys for the hunt.

I want to Thank Dan Butcher for taking one of my Legend and Lou females.Dan went home after the hunt friday night and all he thought about was this female.Dan has made some really nice hounds.So tonight he made the trip back up and picked her up.Best of Luck to Ya.She is in good hands.
Dan has a young male out of Legend and Super Fly he has treed three of five turned loose coon.he can run a good track and opens real well.hes been ran with a real little coon dog Dan owns.Dan wants 400 for him his performance is paid up.Ike looks like Super Fly hes not going to be a real big hound but has all the right tools has a good Locate and good mouth on him.give Dan a call if interested 1-937-403-7016.
Country picked up a win at a slam event saturday night.Hes not really what I call a competition hound.he just has a way getting under coon on a regular basis.
pups are growing and looking good.i`ll try to post some pictures tommorow.

Hey Matt, heres another good one out of Spot and Coco, Katie is a nice little bear dog but likes to trash on coon, SO I gave her a "trashy" night out! She sure can tree them coon up in style, good track dog and super little tree dog! She trailed this one 3/4 of a mile and fell treed on the edge of a beaver pond and had the coon. I agree with ya on that.This was a outstanding cross many good ones came from Spot and Coco. Mike she is looking good,great pictures of the trashy girl.thats how I got Lou she was trashing too,on coon.good to see you getting her in the timber.
I took Powder last night she split and had the coon also.she sure put a tree job on also.Country and King was under three singles.we seen coon all three drops.

As of right now I want to keep her.I want to raise a litter out of her and Tree Daddy.She is a real nice female.I should be hunting her more than I am.their is nothing wrong with her she has a beautiful mouth on her and a real tree hound.her and Tree Daddy will throw some nice pups.I seen a picture of Sage and she does resemble him a bunch.

My pups are looking real nice.i`ll get a picture on here soon.when you guys see these pups your mouth is gonna start watering and you`ll gonna want to add on to get one of these nice females.they are beauties.

I went again tonight and i`ve been hunting Country.Country has been looking good.I like him as good as any i`ve hunted in a long time.He is real good about having a coon he is a outstanding coon hound.I`m looking forward to hunting him at the fall roundup.My pups are acting real good and growing.
Bryan,I would sell her but you know the saying when their gone Dog Gone and I would `nt be able to replace her.I really want to breed her to Tree Daddy.

I`m just gettin in from the fall round up.Country won his cast thursday night 175 + no minus.we didn`t have enough to get in and friday night we didn`t do any good at all.for his first time being hauled and put in a different enviroment he did all right.I did manage to see a live armadillo up close and Country never messed with any at all.this was the first time he was turned into a bunch of cattle it didn`t seem to bother him.The wife and I had a good time meeting up with some ol friends and meeting some new ones.My pups are doing good and are growing getting in and out of the box real well.

Bryan,we took her again tonight she hasn`t been hunted much due to me trying to keep Country in the timber.I`m gonna give Country a break and hunt her until she comes into heat.she has a real nice mouth on her she gets struck and can move a track.I really love the way she comes on a tree,she sounds pretty sweet.I hunted her with King tonight and he treed two on the outside and she had problem smelling them.it`s really dry here.but i`m sure she will be fine with acouple weeks of hunting.

Elmo,all of my hounds carry Ellis Blue Jim and I`m wanting to bring in a out cross that goes back to Rebel and Diam Jim and your hounds have what i`m looking for.I would like to see You and the Whitley boys show up sometime.I can`t wait to see how Eli X Tree Daddy pups turn out .I know Phillp is liking them.Are their any bigger hunts your planning on going to soon ?
I really enjoyed talking to you also at the round up thats the main reason I went.Country and I came close to getting us a nt.ch. win.that would have been a bonus.I think you would really like Tom`s Legend he is a very nice hound.he is only 3.5 years old.he would cross up good on your hounds also.his oldest pups are just turning 1 year old. take care.
