Max is making progress every time out now. I really like this pup and hope he finishes into a top dog. his littermate Whip that my buddy Larry has is making progress every time out as well. Whip treed his own coon the other night and got it feed to him. he is a blow down tree dog that looks straight up and could care less what is going on around him. time will tell, but so far i'm enjoying the hunting these smart pups

Had another great last night with Larry Hamlin and Jt Smith. Grace did what she was supposed to do and we got to give our pups a live coon to play with lol. Perfect night with great friends. That's what it's all about

Larry and myself had a great hunt last night. We like to froze to death but had fun. Our 2 Crocket x Punkin pups are turning it on. These pups will be 9 months old tomorrow and have no problem running and treeing a coon. Both pups have a good mouth to boot. Thanks to Mike Sheppard for making the cross.

Leaving out Wednesday for the Winter Classic. Going to spend Thursday with some good friends visiting, eating later at Como steakhouse, then off to some private land for a coon hunt. Crumpton's, Hamlin's, Harward's, and Harp's. What a crew lol it will be lots of fun. Nothing better than a coon hunt in the South!

GOOD LUCK THIS YEAR EDDIE. I bought an abbey pup that I had sold as a pup she is very very nice . has a beautiful bawl like Steel and is a super trail hound. just started to run her by herself and she just took off . She a first strike track driven lock down tree the bad ones type of hound.... just like I like em.

It's easy to tell everyone how good your hounds is and it's another thing to prove it. This hound is a winner! We weren't afraid to spend the money traveling and entering cause we knew what we were packing. No excuses, just loaded up and went hunting all over the country with an old worn out dog that had a bad tick disease. What other dog can say they at least won their casts in every state they turned loose in with a non hunting judge and against the top contenders in every breed? Crocket beat them all in every breed! Don't say you want to move forward in the breed and not breed to the biggest winners! It's a shame that this dog isn't a walker cause they would be lined up with their best females. Our breed stays in the dark ages because of jealousy and line blindness. It's a shame, cause there are several nice hounds in our breed that could make a difference but they will be too old or dead before anyone wakes up and smells the coffee.
