I just point and my horses load. I don't tie them in. Shake their tails and tell them "back" and they come out. I haul and ride by myself alot, couldn't stand to have a horse that won't load. My friend has a gelding that gives her grief sometimes. Once we couldn't get it loaded on the ANF, I had to come home and call her husband. He took some Amish guys with him and they pushed him in with a butt rope.
Hope u have a good time on ur ride.
I rode Belle for 2.5 hrs today. Was planning an all day ride, but trimmer called and said he was coming today (a beautiful day to ride) instead of tomorrow (rain most of the day)...then he showed up almost 2 hrs late 😞

Nice bunch of fish, Rex. I was hoping we'd get the boat out one mire time, but Chuck is talking about putting it and the motorcycle away for the winter.

Hope u find some coon tonight, HB. I rode for 6 hrs again today. My 73 yo friend rode my horse, Jas. I thought I was taking her on a nice 3 - 4 hr ride, but I miscalculated. We hauled out 45 minutes ...it was dark when we got home.

We went to the casino on Thursday. I broke even and Chuck only lost $10. We didn't know they were giving $15 free play if u took up ur hunting or fishing license so we didn't have ours. Gives me another excuse to go up.
Looks like rain here, but so far nothing.

I should have rode today because it never did rain. While I was riding yesterday, a couple came to look at my cart I had for sale. They wanted it so we delivered it this afternoon.
Not into fireballs anymore. Jas hates other horses. She gets hyper if any get in her space. If she wasn't so safe to ride alone, I would have sold her yrs ago. I have a friend in her mid 60's that got a new horse early this summer...it went over backwards on her and she broke 4 vertebrae...now she doesn't want to get back on it. Another friend fell off her new horse this spring and broke a couple of ribs and her transverse process on her L 4/5. She's back to riding, but pd hundreds of $s for one of those vests that air up if u fall off. Horses are a terrible addiction. ...I've had a broken foot, ankle, finger, ribs, tranverse process, punctured lung, herniated disc and compression fractures on 2 vertebrae.

i still like em to hop around but know im gettin to old for the hyper horses i had a impresive bred mare that was right down mean she would kick anything that got close if it wasn't for that she still be here grandaughter love her to death rode her about every day

Jas is as sweet as can be with anything but horses. The dogs get under the horses and they just stand there. Chuck rode her scouting for deer and carried his noisy tree climber out on her and she was great. We drug a deer over 1/4 of a mile with her. She just does anything u want her to, but get along with other horses. We were on a tral ride and some people were racing and one of the horses ran into us...she's never gonna get over it.
