Went Monday night and treed one about 60yds from where we cut loose they had the coon. Cut loose by the lake and they struck a track and took it to the other side of the lake and treed about 600yds on a hollow tree that the top broke off. Took us a while to get around the lake and Hannah decided that she had enough treeing and ran another 300 yds around the lake. I left Winnie treeing and went and caught her and we went home. Hunted Tuesday and they treed about 800 yards in a swamp no coon was seen. Im going turn each one loose by their self tonight and see what they will do.

Did everyone get rained out last night? I saw where P Mike has Frog entered in AO. Is that a misprint?

Did he hunt in the RQE Sat night?

Oh my goodness, P Mike is going to Autumn Oaks. Is Buck coming with you as a back up handler? Maybe he will hunt Frog a couple of nights this week if you can't go. I sure did a lot of walking last night. It did not get nearly cool enough for me. I took Wendy and Copper. They made 5 trees between them. On the last drop they made one together 950 yds from the truck. I started at 9:30 pm and quit at 2:30 am. I am getting too old for this.

Bond, you should see Boomer and Chow hound. They look like 2 seals or walrus. They have big giant heads and huge long bodies but no legs. Their bodies are so big, they can only scoot around. And their heads are so big, they can't hold them up. And Willow is actually fat now. You won't recognize her.

Well there sister is so fat she has roles on top of her back between coming in heat and than the heat and asthma she spent a lot of time laying around she got so hot last night I felt sorry for her sometimes I think she needs to slow down on her treeing she can really put em out if she would tree like that in a treeing contest she would win all the time but she cares nothing about a coon in a cage

It sure was humid last night but Copper and Daniel managed to tree 2 coons... finally. We drove right up under one tree and walked about 150 yds to the other.
But I still didn't get home until 2:30 am. They also made a couple of "journeys" that didn't result in a tree. We caught them on a road twice and out of an irate homeowners front yard once. Coonhunting around here can sure be exciting.

Backyard hunting wow was it hot and humid last plus I had to get off the 4 wheeler and walk 20 yards to the tree I think I at the next home owners assoc. meeting I may have to attend and see what can be done about adding more 4 wheeler trails its rough out there

Richard I got permission today to hunt the timber on other side of them high dollar homes all the lots are cut in 15 to 20 acres lots now all I need to do is find away to get the 4 wheeler from one side to the other this is a little different from sub division hunting there is more room between houses

Pator Mike will Frog sit on that little plastic flat area in front of the handle bars ??? Storm don't care much for it

Bond, now that you are older, you will have to trade-in that 4 wheeler for a side by side. Get one with headlights, windshield, top and a heater. Then you just put a dog box in the bed and drive it on the roads and in the woods. You should see the fancy one that Jared has. Or Rex's son has one that has 2 electric motors and is completely camouflaged for Black Ops work. He uses a bow and deer and turkey hunts off it. They never know where he is.

I will see what I can do but I am not sure my brother in law wants a side by side see I use his it's right handy I don't have to haul it just drive down to the horse barn go in fire it up and away me and Storm go up the hollow and to home owners assoc land we go and it fits in between trees a side by side wouldn't

Linkous, I talked to a bluetick man this weekend that was sure proud of his Sheba pup. Y'all would have made a good pair. He had on a BBCHA t-shirt but all he could talk about was his pup off of Rocker X Sheba.

My dog might have snapped out of her funk. Here she is all by herself with a coon .7 mi from the truck. There was no driving around so it took me 30 min to get to her and she hammered the whole time.

Old Momma got tired of those pups so she ran away from home last night but she is back now. I watched the Big Orange stomp those Hokies last night instead of hunting. You don't want to mess with Tennessee. We had a big storm roll through here so I stayed home. I heard that Wanda has changed owners. Maybe we will see/hear something out of her now.

I hear that one of Willow's pups got a second place win this weekend to go along with his first. Willow will have another titled offspring soon.

Just so yall know them coppers ant settled in yet for there winter nap but I got one all tucked in tonight he is out like a light he be taking him a dirt nap

Had the old woman's daughter out for a spin tonight hunted a small section of timber that adjoins a big patch of timber but just like her momma she crossed over into the big patch of timber were there are a lot of them not welcome signs she got treed and had the meat so I felt like she needed to see it a little closer when I got back to the truck there was a car parked in behind mine as I got closer I realized it was a Deputies car oh boy I am thinking this is going to be interesting well as I got closer he got out and called me by name so I went on in thinking well they finally got me but as we are talking I realized he really knows me he says you don't remember me do ya I said no I can't say I do he said about 35 years ago you used to hunt with my Uncle I was the skinny kid that tagged along now and again and I can remember some of the things y'all did and I see you haven't changed much we talked of family and his Uncle as he got ready to go I said it was good to see ya he same here I will tell my Uncle I saw you and what you were doing he will get a kick out of that and than I will have to listen to a bunch of his stories lol he said tomorrow I stop and talk to the people that called and tell them your just a coonhunter getting your dog because knowing you I am sure you will be back I said yea You know no matter how hard I try I can't get a dog trained that pays any attention to property lines
