sounds like she may make a good 1 i use ta love gettin a young dog progress into a nice dog but not so much in my older yrs ain't got enough go to hunt em anymore
I saw on TV news that DISH was one of the most hated companies. When our bill got up to almost $70 a few yrs ago, I called to have it cancelled. Told them it wasn't right that I'd been a customer for yrs and got increase after increase, but new customers only had to pay $19.99! The rep told me that was their cheapest package, I told her I'd take it. I have a movie package, too, my bill runs about $27/mon. I try to keep a low profile so they don't start increasing it again.
We took the dogs out tonight. Didn't realize it was raining until we went to load them, but decide to go anyways...u know one short and sweet chase 😉 They went out of hearing distance, about an hr later I flagged down a car for a ride to our car. That saved us a 1.3 mile walk back. Thought we'd have a big boar in the tree, but it was a big (16#) sow.
Good luck with the pup, Rex. Dandy isn't as good as Ruby when she was a yr old, but he's trying.
well the boys buddy brought the blue female last night.,we didn't get to see much out of her last night,we made a tree on the river back, somehow the boy lost his footing and fell over a 15 foot bank and into the river...river is up.it got hairy there for a little bit..i threw my leed strap to his buddy and he snapped it on to his leed strap,30 yards later down stream he got the boy fished out..after I knew the boy was alright I told him ,he was lucky its almost 50 degrees..he promptly responded 'old man that water sure as hell aint no 50 degrees'....

Hope ur son is ok. Guess we all got wet and cold last night.
I saw Chuck slide down the bank into the Allegheny River last yr when we were trapping beaver. Just as he got in about chest deep, he grabbed onto some laurel bushes and got stopped and pulled himself out. After I realized he was ok, I said "I bet that was cold." His reply was "the water was so cold, his 🐢 wouldn't come out for a wk"

We took the dogs out last night. Ruby treed in a big hemlock. I thought we'd hit the jackpot because there was still corn standing in part of the field, but I was wrong. We'll try it again, but go later.
HB, sorry to read about ur Shitzu. I had a Shitzpoo/Yorkiepoo X. She was a great little dog. I took her riding all the time. My friends couldn't believe that a little 12 lb dog would keep up like she did. I have so many good memories of our 18 yrs together. I still miss her, we put her to sleep 2 yrs ago. I had her creamated and her and our dog, Lili, are on my nightstand.

Years ago when our Shepard/Husky passed away we had her cremated & I worked the ashes into the Hosta flowerbed. That was her spot.

The vet told me to give my dog, chicken baby food.
My friend couldn't bury her horse where she lived so she had him cremated, it cost her $1200. Our first dog cost $80, that was 6 yrs ago. My little dog (7 lbs) cost $110, but that including the shots to put her to sleep. Here the price goes by weight. It's a tough thing to do, HB, but its better than them suffering.
quote:ive bury alot of dogs in my life time&2 horses and a mule bury on the hill it bother me some but this been our baby for 17 yrs she is part of the family it's really workin on this ole man think the vet said 150 to creamante her wife said he wouldn't charge for the shot because we have spent so much money on her over the last yr with him id say if we total everything up probly be 2000 dollars
