Vic nice pedigree.I bet she was a good one in her prime.Did you ever raise any pups off of her?Emit sure was fun to be around never a dual moment.I went with him and he was hunting Natural,I had Jed,Jed was off of Tack II and Our old President of Greenville Coon Hunting Club Leroy Bruns had a english male name Swamp Creek Harley.we sure had a great hunt.ol Jed would hurt your ears when you went to the tree.Good times and really not to many years back,Natural,Jed and Harley were pretty nice hounds. I'm doing good been hunting dogs alone often and they are doing good.
I bred Magic to Sabrina by AI so I hope it took. I'll be looking for my marking and then go from there.

Yes those pups are super loud and I need to get some of that in my dogs. Mine have great volume but I always want more. That male pup has a mouth that any man would want on his hounds
Eli goes back to Blue Jim II a couple of times but it back there a ways. I like the old Smokey River blood mixed with Uchtman.
Tree Daddy sounds like he is doing his part. I need to come out and hunt sometime.

No battle of the breeds for me I have to work it is our busy season so no time off for me.

That female is off Eli and Chief's Joe should be a super cross. They said her brother sure can get in the dark

I checked 15.5 hours one way a long drive.the bad part getting home sunday night and getting up at 5 am and going to work.Sounds like your hounds are doing good. Yea Uchtman and Smokey River was a good combination both Stinger and Tree Daddy have a little Uchtman.Tree Daddy a little more.

Hi Matt, Great pictures ! Those two -True Blue Coondogs - sure look good on that huge oak tree! When Tom called I could tell he was excited about the hunt and you guys were having a good ole time. To tree 2 coons in that kind of weather it takes some kind of dog power. Even though Kid and Country are only 3 years old ,last night proved they can get it done anytime. Billy,the pictures turned out great.it was good getting out for a while with Tom the other night.we went tonight and managed to get one on the outside.it don`t take long to get cold after you work up a sweat.Kidd`s a pretty nice hound. Rick good talking to you,its been a while.I know you sound excited about hunting your young hounds.BlackJack sure looks like his brothers.I`m glad he`s working out.I thought we would have a good cross with Legend and Lou and its looking like were getting good results.Thanks for taking time to put fur in their mouth.I really think this line of hounds can do it all.the trainer has the most influnce on a young hound than anything.you sure look like your doing your part.Roxy sure isnt afraid of much.I sure hope she learns to set back a little she`ll be all scared up with that intense kill power.if you get a chance check out the guy in Gaylord he has one out of Stinger and Lou he will cross good on Roxy and so will Mike Fairchilds Slew.You have a good start for your big game pack already.Dennis Upson`s blood has crossed good with Ellis Blue Jim line of hounds and their not hard to look at either.Dennis has a good eye for a top hound.

I'm am a fan of the old Diamond Jim /Sage blood mixed in with the new Smokey River. I'll keep my eyes open and I hope to get a pup to mix in my dogs blood one of these days.
If I lived in the country I'd have one here already. I live in town so 4 dogs is all I can have. But I'm sure I will get one at some point.

I just wanted to let you know I've been hunting Dixie hard and she looks great in the woods.Also I've been getting great reports on both litters she's had.The Gus pups out of her are really cranking it out,sure wish I would have kept 1 for myself.I am planning on breeding her to a good Tramp son this spring.If I can't make that cross she will go to Rook's Banging Blue Spud or Smokey River Cheif Geronimo.

Glynn,Good to hear your back to hunting her.I`m sure she is throwing good pups she has some good ones in her pedigree and Sadie was a pretty nice female herself.I would have to say a good direct son of Tramp would be a super cross.I`l tell ya another good one is off of Legend and Lou named Image.he would cross up real good and what a mouth on him.
I`ve been trying to get out as much as possible.I have a real nice litter of off of Tree Daddy and Ruby they are easy on the eyes.My male has a real mouth on him and tight footed It won`t be long and spring will be around the corner and he already is barking at a coon tail.take care! Matt

I received a phone call last night from Ted Larger and his young Tree Daddy X Fly male (Smoke) sure was treeing his heart out sounded good.Smoke can fly on track and is wired 440.Ted asked me how he was so wired. he is full of energy. Good luck getting him hunted down Ted.I think he is going to be a good one.I love the mouth on the tree sounded good.
I`ve been playing with my Tree Daddy and Ruby pups with a coon tail attached to a long fishing rod and a three foot string and they are loving it.they sure sound off and I can hang it up wind and they sure use their nose.the four pups I have here are all crazy over it.all seem to be naturals.good luck to the guys who have their pups off this cross. I`m getting good reports on this litter.I`ll keep us all updated on their progress.

Thanks for the calls everyone.I have hunted this line of hounds for 20 + years and its been working good for me here.I`ve strived to keep a tight line of hounds that work for me.I love hearing about your hounds good and bad.this helps me with a cross or two down the road.Its great hearing the excitement in someones voice when their hounds is doing a good job and also when their hound is having trouble.You won`t find a lot of titles here I`m just not into the hunts I may go to ten all year and thats what I went to in 2010.I may try to hit a few more next year we`ll see.This line of hounds isn`t no accident and the foundation was laid long before me.I can say one one thing its a great place to start.well so much for rambling.Good Luck to everyone.

your pups are looking good.I just dewormed my pups again and man they are sure growing.I don`t have your male here but Jeremy is taking good care of the big guy.I love playing with the young pups they sure love to tree that coon tail.not much scent their and they still fire it up.they all seem to have nice mouths on them.they really have alot of smarts to them.

Thanks Ted Larger for getting up and making a drop with Country.Country struck a good track and drove it straight to a den tree.he sure was happy to get out thats forsure.I went and picked up Dons two males and I couldnt sleep so I decided to make a few drops.
